Don't let people on this forum put you down, as they are ready to pounce on some one, who is thinking good for them. Chalo, thats mahrajs play. They are not abhiyaasi and most likely wont even wake up amritwela, dead while still alive, yet they are ready to hurt another gursikhs feelings. They have no signs of a gursikh, carry on with your inspiring posts, TO SOME and leave the rest to mahraj. The ones that disagree are the ones who are in the boat themselves, so by writing these kinds of posts, you will hurt there hankar, pride and krodh thats why they react. Write childish posts and say childish things, realise that mahraj has done kirpa on you and you are doing a great seva through mahrajs kirpa. Keep it up!   5. these are Sikhs of true belief and commitment and to me they bigger than any sant mahapursh. they put their live and their families on the line.theirs is also true ongoing sacrifice to Sikh nation. I know exactly how you feel, and to be honest there nothing wrong with the way you are feeling. BUT it is not right to label these gurmukhs with such titles, take Bhai sahib Randheer singh he totally disagreed with people calling him with such titles, his jeevan was so high but he still said that we are brothers of the same father and only Bhai Sahib was used. These days we have a gursikh who does some bhagti and we jump the gun and straight way start to call them sant, Sant is such a big word but used so freely. Who can be higher than the Panj Piyare, four sahibzadeh and other gursikhs the only words we use for them is bhai sahib or baba. Baba Jarnail Singh Bindrawaleh was about to do a speech and the Singh introduced him as Bramghani, I think. His reply to that was if one calls him with such a word, is the greatest strike (//) to his body. (on those lines) I've seen it on this forum as well, the singhs who are telling you not to use the words so freely, actually do the opposite. So even though there is nothing wrong with how you feel, we should not do what these gursikhs don’t want us to do. So please it is a benti at your charan to edit the post, besides that the post is great. It is for the next generation to build on their jeevans and fight for justice, that means US! To jaap naam in a work environment needs a lot of practice and determination, but it’s possible and should be practiced. Not to forget education and when at home is a must to practice naam abhiyaas. People like me fail this but hopes the sangat does an ardaas. These are a few things that you can do, practice naam abhiyaas with the tongue. One problem that someone might have with this is that they don’t want others thinking that they have gone mad, but mahraj tells us... thaeree bhagath n shhoddo bhaavai log hasai || I shall not abandon devotional worship of You, O Lord, even if the people laugh at me. So if one is serious about this, first thing to do is not care what people think. If you got waheguroo on your tongue then you will automatically feel like doing it in your mind, but before this swaas swaas naam abhiyaas is important, as it helps when at the mind stage. Then doing it in the mind will become automatic, even when talking you will have naam going through your mind, every breath taken will automatically say waheguroo. Even talking to someone, naam will not leave your mind, it’s so Gurrrrroooooooo. Sorry :umm: Then athi pehar naam abhiyaas will be gained and all this is the gift from waheguroo, WE LOVE YOU WAHEGUROO! Ardaas is the key to this, only when he wants it to happen will happen. When I was a kid I wanted a play station, so I bugged and bugged my parents day and night, and then after a few months or even a year lol they bought me a playstation. That’s just an example, our guru is our father, keep on begging him, ask him you want to meet waheguroo, but what mahraj wants is to see how much you want it, so practice is very important. There is no need to read books, or ask questions just jaap naam. Gurbani is also the key to this, it will help you to keep on the track and motivate you to jaap more naam, wake up amritwela, read gurbani, practice naam abhiyaas everywhere and keep a strict rehit. It’s so beautiful to be an amrithari gursikh, Gurrrrooooo! One thing will come in the way and that is laziness and impatiens, these will take you of track, so always keep that on mind. This could take years and years but don’t lose the determination, never do a dhill in naam abhiyaas or keeping rehit, read as much gurbani as possible. For these two diseases there is only one cure and that is sangat, sangat has a big part to play on this. Only do sangat with naam abhiyaasi gurikhs. There a few qualities which you will find in a naam rasiya gursikh. They are the first ones at the start of the keertan and the first ones to leave when the smathi has been done, they will not eat much and will defiantly not talk unless you grab them, which I personally think one shouldn’t do, to get something out of them is not by doing veechar but to jaap naam with them. If one does then it’s their own paap, and will definitely pay the price. Help them out, because they might be confused, but never watch any one go of track, we as sikhs of the guru should help other gursikhs. It can happen to any one of us, but that’s the kala of kaljug, do regular keertan darbars and get together to do veechar about the guru. I to know a few people, When it comes to the time of marriage then they feel that they need to find that perfect partner, make comments like, ‘we cant carry some one we don’t know’. Who am I to call you a moorakh, 'hum nahi change, boora nahi koe' If you think I have offended you then read gurbani and its truth, then not only you but also I will know how dirty we are. My father was telling me the other day, don’t do parchar of truth, because people won’t be able to take it. Most people take the advice that the guru gives, others ignore it. Dating a bibi or having any relationship with a bibi is a big paap, I’ve been there done it got the t-shirt, then end result, NOTHING! If this was a hindu reading it then let him know what our Guru Preeches, why are you so afraid about what people think, will you stop doing parchar about the guru if your hindu mate will get hurt by truth. Look at the gurus history and find out how they only told the truth, if a person was wrong he was told wrong. The best advice on here is the above quotation, how about this tell the girls brother or father that you are going to bring her into sikhi, talk to her for long, email her take her out etc, and if they don’t give you a beating then hope someone does, now the reason I said this is because people like you are dating bibia and then when you can’t give them something they want a Muslim extremist steps in and takes over. Don’t forget it’s because of our weakness that extremist Muslims and Bhamans can take over, otherwise who are they to interfere with the panth, learn from Baba BANDHA Singh Bhadars mistake, if he had listened to Guru Mahraj he wouldn’t have to suffer the punishment. You just said that you are on your way to dating, and now you are comfortable to bring her in to sikhi, I think you haven’t got sikhi yourself so how will you bring her on to the gurus path. I think people abuse the thuk, "aap Japo, avra naam japavo" This doesn’t mean that we wake up amritwela a few days and then we are chardikala to inspire someone else, NO. This means jaap so much naam that people look at you and get inspired, gursikhs like, Bhai Jeevan Singh. I was really shocked with the sangat, you guys are higher than this moorakh but if you don’t give advice on gurmat principals ONLY, then you guys are too be blamed.   12. Waheguroo, I didn’t like what this person said at all, piyario please refrain from such comments. I HATE the state Jatha is in now, there is QUANTITY rather than QUALITY (which it used to be), There are chardikala gursikhs out there but the dhill and weaknesses because of people using the jatha name has messed the jatha up so much. So your comments are invalid, no one is converting anyone (we are not Muslims who need Quantity), I say people don’t take amrit from AKJ. Personally I was talking of naam and not jatha bandis, there are Nihang Singhs who give naam driirr, Elder Taksal singhs have naam driir so I don’t get why people have negative thinking, that AKJ are the only ones who give naam driir. I learned this from experience I to use to get people to take amrit from akj, but later those people didn’t wake up amritwela keep rehit or read much gurbani so what was the point. So I speak through experience when I say this, there are a few singhs who have kept strict rehit and naam abhiyaas, namely Tapoban Singhs, Mali Singhs, Bebik Sar Singhs and others from India.   13. This is your problem. Brother if after your amrit sanchar you didn't feel that you cant jaap naam, then what was you doing there, then what has that Amrit Sanchar Offered you. We take amrit to receive naam and the Panj Piyare motivate us to jaap athi pehar naam abhiyaa, to wake up amritwela and keep rehit. If the naam has not been drilled in to your body by the Panj Piyare so what did they give you? You take amrit to give your head but it is also the panj piyares duty to drill the naam in to the abhlakee, by whispering the word in to your ear, is not drrir. If the seed has not been planted then how will it grow. To be honest this is not your fault and this is a regular case in most peoples lives who think they have received naam, read Amrit ki hai by Bhai Randhir Singh then you will realise the truth about amrit sanchars, bhai shaib blames the gursikhs who took part in the Panj Piyare di seva. If the Panj Piyare are not abhiyaasi then what can they offer you. Don't forget the Panj Piyare that were in Guru Sahibs times had to give there head to their guru, they were abhiyasi guriskhs had FULL FAITH in Guru Gobind Singh ji but these days we have so called panj piyare who are not abhiyaasi don't even wake up amritwela and don't have a standard rehit. Most people will ignore the truth and say things like who are you to comment the panj piyare, well because of this behavior even the amrit sanchars are at a low rate. When reading Lareedar there needs to be 101% concentration. There are some rules that need to be contemplated in order to have shud and fluent path. You see all we are doing is looking at the battles that these gursikhs fought; we don’t have a clue on how much bhagti they had done. One thing is we are weak, we don’t care what the guru says but we look at pictures and stories of gursikhs such as Baba Deep Singh ji, if a gurskh can fight with his head on his parm do you think it was its bachan or the kirpa of waheguroo and the bhagti this gursikh had been blessed with. One question to all, what are we doing for the guriskhs in jail, do we bother to do more abhiyaas, or gurbani for these gursikhs? An extra chopi sahib or jaap ji sahib just for the chardikala of the panth. Some people have said we haven’t got the kamai of gursikhs such as Sant Jarnail singh then what are we doing here, why don’t we work on that kamai, rather than talking about these issues, which wont benefit us at all. Lets say we have this land and then what, we cant even look after ourselves, forget about ourselves I have seen pointless arguments on this forum, lets work on our Kamai and then lets talk further. The word Khalisatan for me narrows the potential which the KHALSA actually have. Don’t forget the KHALSA will have raaj over the world, so don’t worry about raaj lets just concentrate on our jeevan. Bhai sahib times, people called the jatha Bhai Randhir SInghs jatha is here or doing keertan, but becuase bhai sahib was so Nimaana(humble), they changed the name to Akhand Keertani Jatha.   21. Gurmukho, you will get that a lot. Naam is gurmantar, yeh. Gurbani is instructions, we are told what to do by the guru. OK I dont know if this is a good example but it just come in to my head, Guru Nanak dev jis bhagats didnt have gurbani as the Guru was a living guru. So what did they recite what was Guru Nanak Dev jis teachings, Naam Japo, Wand shako and Kirat Karo. What was naam at that time, so one can argue that it was mool mantar but there has to be something deeper. As bhai Gurdaas ji explains in his Vaara. emm I dont think thats a good example but one thing we need to do is stop trying to be something we are not, a lot of these chdraikala gursikhs are either just telling you what they heard or others have the gurmantar going in there dusam dhuar while reading gurbani, some might be feeling raas while reading gurbani but thats the naam that they practiced in this life or past lives. Gurmukho I cant just say it and thats it, we need to practice it. Again im not attacking any one, we are all learning for example, me and my brother like K_Z can have these types of talks without feeling negative about each other, even though we both belive two totaly diffrent things.   22. Waheguroo ji ka khalsa, waheguroo ji ki fateh The problem is not enough naam. It seems, for some reason that you are not doing enough naam abhiyaas. A lot of singhs wake up do Nitnem, Asa Di // and Sukmani sahib but then go to sleep, without practicing no naam abhiyaas they normally tend to wake up and sleep a lot latter or before. We are not doing what the gurbani we read is telling us to do. 'Simro Simmar simmar sukh pavo', no offence to any body but people are looking at other peoples jeevans and practicing what they use to do, yet they don’t know the inner meaning to this. For example, Rangle sajjan a book by bhai sahib Randheer singh when reading this very interesting book, I to wanted to have the same jeevan as these rare individuals, in there it was regular written that they were doing nitnem at around 2.30 after having ishanaan this was very odd as naam abhiyaas is very important, but when I asked other learned gursikhs they said that there naam was going inside they didn’t have to jaap naam aloud or do sitting naam abhiyaas. People like us think we can do the same. NO we cant, we need to jaap a naam aloud in this initial stage. One should do around 2.30 hours of naam abhiyaas, then nitnem. Then see the difference, try it for a while. You will only need 4 hours sleep after a few years, but you should make sure you don’t go to sleep at amritwela. Most people have a cold ishnaan and then put the heater on full blast or a lot of clothing, there is no use in doing so. Because of our age we will need more sleep, but when we do more naam abhiyaas we won’t need too much sleep, also age plays a lot in this. Try sleeping 6 - 8 hours but sleep on time and wake up on time, a lot of us sleep at like 8.30pm and then do amritwela but sleep a lot after which then destroys the routine, so sleeping a lot later will mean we wont be tired when it comes to 8.30pm. So then we will sleep for the sake of it. Sorry for confusing example. We shouldn’t follow what our elders have done as they have done naam abhiyaas for life times, we need to do what gurbani tells us to do also Bhai Gurdaas ji vaara are a key to gurbani, one will learn a lot.
