well, it's always sad to see people cut their hair last week another young kid at our gurudwara cut his hair. it's an familiar picture these days why does barber being a Muslim have anything to do with this? how do you know he is Muslim? why do you feel it is necessary to degrade other religions?

Maybe I didn't say it clearly. I have done gatka since the age of 9 til the age of 16 in india and in Phoenix and have been to many gatka akharas. Well, we have just started a gatka class in our Gurudwara and I needed some help in that area. I will be teaching gatka to little kids but I can't remember much about gatka when i did it in my early days. First, can anyone find me a prayer and dance everyone does before doing gatka. Also I'm sure how to plan these lessons since I don't want to be too hard on kids. We have most of the equipment so no worries there. Also, I don't want these kids thinking with gatka they can go around hitting people, how do i go about that? Also, if someone could give me some history on gatka that would be nice.

BJP was an opposition party during the anti-sikh riots, it was their job as an opposition to condemn these attacks. they didn't do it because they wanted to help sikhs, they did it so they could get votes from sikhs in the future. Also, Atal Bihari Vajpayee did not approve the Operation Blue star stop trying to defame him, he actually helped many Sikhs gain limited justice. Just because he is a hindu doesn't mean he hates us. If anyone remembers when he came to visit Golden Temple during his prime minister years he openly said Indra Gandhi was at fault for the operation Blue star. He actually tried to distant himself from RSS but L.K. advani though otherwise. Also, not all Hindus are bad, if i can remember correctly there is a video of HINDU relief workers who helped many sikhs.

you have to understand we are a fighting breed that prides itself in military. We have had armies since the tiem of Guru Gobind singh. After the lose to the British our army was dismantled until world war1 and 2. Sikhs were loyal to British then because they were hoping that by proving their loyalty to the British they would again gain their independence once the British left. Which did not happen. And now many sikh are loyal to India because they believe India will give them their independence one way or the other.
