This is one of my all time favourite shabads... makes me realise what an egotistical, tunnled, blind individual I am... and that I don't even exist - Because everything in this world is Him. The One Primal Being, The Amazing Lord Who Existed long before 'I' came along and will continue to exist long after 'I' have gone...

All that happens, and all that will happen, is by His Will. If we could do something by ourselves, we would.

By ourselves, we cannot do anything at all. As it pleases the Lord, He preserves us. ||1||

O my Dear Lord, everything is in Your power.

This shabad just got me thinking. Guru Nanak Dev ji's Shabads show so much humility. Although its written by Guru Ram Das jee.

still the way i see it is that a large number of Guru Nanak dev ji's Shabad show humility. So i think that the all 10 Guru ji provide something unique.

but strength is not useful if you are not humble, since being full of ego is a weakness.
