It is with great sadness that I bring you the news that Baba Shisha Singh Ji Hazur Sahib Wale have left for Sachkhand.

Baba Ji was given the seva and responsibility of looking after Gurdwara Langar Sahib in Hazur Sahib Maharastra. I have very fond memories of Baba Ji and of Gurdwara Langar Sahib.

I think Baba Jee left for Sachkhand yesterday and not today as this was mentioned on Amrit Bani Radio yesterday.

Please could someone post more information on Baba Jee's life.

I heard excellent obituaries about Baba Jee on Amrit Bani Radio last night. People from the UK were ringing in to the studio with glowing tributes about how Baba Jee joined them and encouraged them towards Sikhi. They spent their whole life in seva through the KaarSeva Sansthaa, and in particular did sevaa of GurAsthaan in Southern India (mainly around Sri Hazoor Sahib).

They went into Seva from a very early age, and left all family attachments to serve the Panth. After leaving their family, they only met their mother once in 42 years, and the only thing they said to each other was Fateh. This shows how devoid they were of Moh and how committed they were to serving the Panth.

Baba Jee had a strict routine of Satnam Waheguroo Simran with the whole Sangat from 2am to 4am and again in the evening for 2 hours. They were always immersed in Gurbani, Seva and Simran, and spreading love for Sikhi and the Guroos.

Although I was never fortunate enough to have darshan of this Gurmukh, I have fond memories of going to Gurudwara Langar Sahib at a very young age in Nander. As the name of the Gurudwara suggests, the Gurudwara does a lot of Langar Seva, especially for the destitute and poor people of Nander. I can clearly remember the Utshaah and Pyaar of the Sangat involved in Seva there, and especially how the people of the area there used to love having the Kheer (Rice Pudding) in the Langar.

May Guru Jee continue to bless us with his Guru Pyarae.

Last year I did Baba Jee darshan in Hazoor Sahib.

The Veerjee who was along with me told me that Baba Jee give sewa punishment (langar or kar sewa etc) to one who touches his feets.

He asked every sangat welfare and enquire where they are staying, had langar etc.
