Wups, I was wrong, as always! Never trust girls and IT!!

There are 2 types of Trojans (I think so).

The one u'v got can luckily get erased, otherwise u had to delete all ur files on ur pc. ie. formatting ur harddisk.

If ur Operative System is XP OR WIN98... then click:

http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcen...ojan.horse.html

Read => removal instructions.

Disable System Restore (Windows Me/XP).

Update the virus definitions.

Restart the computer in Safe mode or VGA mode.

Run a full system scan and delete all the files detected as Trojan horse.

Delete any values that were added to the registry.

Windows 95/98/Me only: Remove any references to the infected files, which the Trojan added to the Win.ini and System.ini files.

Clear the Temporary Internet Files folder, if required

For specific details on each of these steps, read the following instructions

Have Fun:D

Oh and no one can see ur files... ahh... maybe... no ofc no one can see ur files virji (lol)! Hope it will work for ya!

Trojan Horse

The hollow wooden horse in which, according to legend, Greeks hid and gained entrance to Troy, later opening the gates to their army.

Just like the Greeks hid inside the guise of a wooden horse, a computer Trojan horse is disguised to resemble a known legitamate software. Basically a particular trojan horse file maybe named lets say Explorer.exe so when u look at it looks like normal Window's application but in reality it executed malicious code, which can do stuff like send private data to other people or maybe allow them to gain access to ur computer.

I think most people worry too much about these Trojan horses or Hackers trying to get into computers. No decent Hackers are even gonna bother with some standalone computers they go after mainframe systems etc.

Sandy just follow the instructions Nidhi has given and if you want you can also run this free virus scanner.

that'd suck if it was explorer.exe....

your either a maha purash when it comes to computers, or your a hacker (joke)

i think it is explorer actually,

problem is, my AVG anti virus would come up when it finished loading and say if any viruses were detected, now it doesnt even do that.

how do i get it back on?

gustaphi maaf
