All-Info Paji...i know your intentions are good and i appreciate them, however, i've always thought of it to be disrespectful to consider Guroo Maahaaraaj as a book....

Sorry if i offended, just wanted to make a point...sorry ji... blush.gif

Dr Surinder Singh Kolhi was a very studious Gursikh. He has passed away now but his last work was a translation of the Dasam Granth (other than Chritropakhyaan and Hikayat). Death and After, and Naam, are two short books he has written. Alot of Gurbani is used to back up all the points Bhai Sahib makes.

In Death and After, he talks about the warnings of death, Yamraj, the God of death. He describes Yama and what he does to souls, the journey of the soul after death, the numerous heavens and hells, reincarnation and near death experiences. Bhai Sahib also explains these concepts in relationship to other religions.

In Naam, Bhai Sahib looks over Naam in relationship to other religions, its remembrance, the Gurmantar, Bhai Sahib also gives us some information on how we can improve our Bhagti in relation to the Panj Doots. He also talks about special experiences a Gursikh may have and touches briefly on the Anhad Shabad, etc. and finally meditation.
