ਸਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ,

in the last week, i went to a yahoo chat room and started typing in punjabi[gurmukhi] and amazed many people. most just ignored, and said that they know it's a font. so many of them requested me to tell them how to write in punjabi. i just referred them the sites and the page to see and follow. most of them could not easily follow. yet i helped all. but i cannot be all time in chatting and telling. it's ur decision, it's our mother toungue. we ourselves have to spread it.so, most people cud not figure out how to enable. so i thought of preparing this online program for easy typing. nevermind wherever u are, at office or home, or at cafe, u need not install, enable or download anything there's just a direct on screen keyboard.

please note, it's not a font. it's UNICODE that's inbuilt in most of the latest OS releases[e.g. winXP, Fedora Core 4].

great effort by babbar khalsa there, bu tare you guys aware of the Punjabi/English keyboard made by some singhs in toronto, this keyboard is availbale worldwide from their website. Its a multimedia Punjabi/English keyboard, that we you dont need to open a help file or a sheet of paper to look up punjabi fonts, everything is on the keyboard.
