Amrit Sanchar

What Naam Drirrh really is, is when the Panj Pyare plant the seed of Naam within you and bestow you with the Jugti for Japping Naam so that the Gurmantar is intertwined with every breath you take.

Claiming all Amrit Sanchars give Naam Drirrh is completely untrue. At most Amrit Sanchars the Abhilakee is told the Gurmantar is "Waheguru" and that is all. This is not Naam Drirrh.

The AKJ.org website states

Using this technique to do Naam Simran makes the whole being of the Abhilakee vibrate with Naam. With each breath the surtee gets stirred with Naam. It is as if the swaas lift from the navel and knock at the Dasam Duaar. Only those who have been blessed with this Gurmat technique and practice it all the time, specially at Ammritvellaa, can know the real enjoyment.

Gurbani says:

MERE HEEARE RATTAN NAAM HAR BASIAA, GUR HAATH DHARIO MERAE MAATHAA

(The Jewel of Naam came to dwell in my heart when The Guru put His Hand on my forehead)

If the Guru Sahib put his hand on your head in the Amrit Sanchar and gave you the "Rattan" of "Naam", then you received Naam Drirrh in your Amrit Sanchar.

hhahahahahah

you obviously have no giyaan of gurbani whatsoever....you have taken the most literal approach to it to back up the ways of your jatha....that's pathetic...i suggest you try to find out more what that line means...

small hint in your search....look into the concept of destiny...thte answers lie there...

if your jatha beleives in doing something one way..that's cool...but that don't mean another way is wrong...especially when the jatha can't even properly back it up with any gurbani!

Out of the many controversial issues in the Panth today, many people often feel most insecure on the issue of Naam Drirrh. This is why Naam Drirrh is always a more "touchy" issue.

If a Gursikh got Maha-Anand from his Simran and always had good concentration and thus Japped lots of Naam, then he would have no such insecurity and would not resort to making comments as "hhahahahahah you obviously have no giyaan of gurbani whatsoever".

If you would like further references to the Jugti given through Naam Drirrh being "the correct one":

Bhai Mani Singh in "Sikha Di Bhagatamala" mentions the Saas Giraas Jugti and has not mentioned any other Jugti.

In "Sau Sakhi" in Sakhi 71 the same Saas Giraas Jugti is mentioned.

In "Prem Surag Granth" the same Saas Giraas Jugti is mentioned.

I have never seen any Gurbani or text that supports any other Jugti for Simran. Have you?

There are even Gurbani quotes referring to the breath being situated at the navel. And the Gurbani Tukh already posted, is quite clear in the meaning. Dismissing it as "too literal" an interpretation is not very valid.

"The Jatha" doesn't have a burning need to back up any of it's beliefs or impress anyone. The proof is in the pudding, so to speak. The only people who speak against Naam Drirrh, are those who have not received it. Apologies if I have offended you.

As mentioned before there is no official Amrit Sanchar organised as such, call Bhai Onkar Singh if you need one organised. The next definate Amrit Sanchar will most likely be at Holla Mahalla next year.

No in Amrit Sanchars organised at AKJ Rainsbais Abhilakees are clearly told they have taken Amrit from the Khalsa and not from any particular Jatha. I think the reason in particular AKJ Sanchars are being enquired about are because Abhilakees are looking for an Amrit Sanchar with a strict selection process for Panj and the opportunity to receive Naam Drirrh (which, for anyone who has received it, will know this is a perfectly reasonable request  )

There is nothing better than taking Amrit from Sri Akaal Takht Sahib or from Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib!
