please read gurbaani.

Gurbaani says that remmebering God with an honest heart for even an instant can erase countless sins. Sikhi isn't about the amount of bagti in years, it is about heartfelt, sincere devotion to God. If a person in their last moment of life remember God it can lead to liberation. We don't believe in so and so many years lead to salvation etc...that is like bargaining with God.

for someone who has never done bhagti or any naam kami for they only remember god when death comes they are broguht infront of dharam rajs caught and held account for their deeds this is were they repent and wish they had done some kind of naam kamai

people that give shaheedi people will argue that u have to be amritdhari or a naam kami vala gursikh to have te stratus shaheed and some my argue no u dont.

the label shaheed means nothing to them only akal purak can judge praising or not being praised means nuthing to them now.

shaheedi means sacrfice if i am correct

the only true sacrifice is wen we sacrifice our mind and give it to mahraj

No matter who it is, there is no sach khand without amrit.

There are some sakhis about babies coming into Gursikh households and being given amrit just alittle while after birth, or as very young children, and then dying and going straight to Sachkhand. This is because they were very high souls in their past lives, but as they hadnt recieved the gift of amrit, couldnt go to Sachkhand. As all they needed was amrit, they didnt have to live out their whole life, and could leave once they had recieved it.

It is my belief that this is what happens with those Shaheed Singhs who were not amritdhari.

I feel a person who is not a Amritdhari but dies while performing some duty for the panth and not for his own self is a shaheed in the eyes of public .

For example if a non Amritdhari gets rid of some dusht of the panth ,he will be considered a shaheed.

We had some such people in the Khalistan movement of 1980's/90's also.

I may be wrong as these are my personal views .

Isnt Guru ji looking at our intentions? What we're dying for? Yea a lot of Sikhs can say that they're dying for the Panth, but i know a lot of us (myself included) would die so their name can live on and to be glorified as a martyrs. I think a lot of Sikhs are looking for a "reward" when doing good deeds than simply doing it out of love for Waheguru. There were probably some great Gursikhs of the past who performed heroic deeds but didnt achieve mukti, we'll never know why, all we know is that we have no power over attaining salvation, it is all according to Wahegurus will, and whatever his will is, that is what we should love.

You are making a remarkably unsual and awkward proposition. That is, effectively, there is no true liberation/salvation without holy nectar.

This is not only obtuse, it is absurd.

The implication you are making is that only those who have taken holy nectar -- that is a fraction of the world's 23 million Sikhs -- will ever reach true liberation.

Let's consider this. Assume that 50% of the world's Sikhs have indeed taken nectar (a very liberal estimate). That gives us 11.5 million human beings in general poised for Salvation. That implies that only 0.002% of the world (all Sikhs, mind you) will ever reach Salvation.

This is absurd!! Are you implying that the Sikh god favors those who drink nectar with regards to entry into his kingdom of Sach Khand? And that this drinking of nectar over-rules the potential millions of good deeds and accumulation of good karma of an individual, particularly if he does not follow the Sikh faith?

In response to your ignorance, it's safe to say that the other 99.998% of us would rather have nothing to do with a doctrine or dogma which instills such skewed, unreasonable and foolish values.
