Mahala 5 = By Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Arjun Dev Ji (5th Guru Nanak)

Sukhmani = Sukh + Mani

Sukh = peace/happiness

Mani = diamond/psalm

So Sukhmani is the diamond of peace.

According to rehit maryada the minimum amount of bani you read everyday is:

JapJi Sahib, Jaap Sahib, TavPrasaad Swaye, Chaupai Sahib, Anand Sahib in morning; Rehraas Sahib in evening and Keertan Sohila at night.

Other banis can be read whenever. Dont hesistate to add any bani to your nitnem; The more bani.. the better!

**The "Rahao" (capital) line of Sukhmani Sahib is:
