Indian News Media Censors Sewa Divas Of Panthic Bodies Held At Fatehgarh Sahib On 4 August,2006

A mammoth gathering of anti badal Panthic bodies was held at Dewan Todar Mal hall at Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib but was totally "blacked out" over major tv news channels of India.There was no mention of this Panthic event on any channel including the so called Punjabi channels also.

A so called secular newspaper "The Tribune" did not show any picture of the large gathering at Fatehgarh Sahib instead reported the event as if nothing significant had happened.

Although seva diwas of Panthic bodies did not get any coverage on indian tv channels yet badal must have received the reports of the large gathering and must have had a sleepless night .

Old rejected akali leaders like badal ,Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, Gurdev Singh Badal, Balwinder Singh Bhunder, Captain Kanwaljit Singh,Ranjit Singh Brahampura, Tota Singh called this rally as a 'congress' sponsored event whereas they themselves know what this was .

Any person who speaks out against badal is projected as a congress agent whereas badal is the one who has closest relations with congress,BJP and RSS.

badal should know the many Sikhs and Punjabies are not happy at badal's closeness with RSS and BJP.

Moreover badal has left all demands of Sikhs and has no particular agenda except criticising others.

Sikhs should now leave congress and badal dal and support SAD(Amritsar) and the newly formed Panthic committee so that SGPC and other Sikh institutions are cleansed of badal family and their stooges who have been defiling these great institutions with the help of RSS/BJP.

Remember both congress and badal dal use various ways and means both legal and illegal to get such a gathering in their rallies.

This was a congregation of true "ankheelay" Sikhs who have pain in their hearts for what is happening to Sikhism and it's institutions under badal.These large gathering was against both congress and badal dal in Punjab.

By the way today's badal dal rally at Dana Mandi Kot Ise Khan was a flop show.

On the other hand Gurdev badal's daughter and son in law attended a so called satsang of followers of ashutosh jha noormehalia at Kot Sadar Khan 5 kms from Dharamkot near Moga.

It is openly know that Mrs badal(wife of prakash badal) and Gurdev badal bow before ashutosh and are their chelas.

Shamsher Dullo,the Punjab Congress president whose son was arrested yesterday for teasing girls in shimla and for goondaaism is a follower of bhaniarawala.

Both congress and badal dal should be finished from Punjab to save Sikhs and Punjab from being ruined.

Shiromani Akali Dal (1920) president Ravi Inder Singh today said he had nothing to do with the recently constituted Panthic coordination panel set up by Akali leaders at Fatehgarh Sahib on August 4.

He said he had sent two of his party leaders as observers only and his consent had not been taken before being nominated as one of the members of the panel.

Addressing a press conference here, he betrayed his aversion for Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) president Simranjit Singh Mann. He said he and his party could not have any truck with the people whose nationalistic credentials were suspect and doubtful.

Moreover, he said he was not in favour of holding dharnas at Harmandar Sahib or Akal Takht. He said in spite of everything, the SGPC was a democratically elected body. However, he said, he did not accept Giani Joginder Singh Vedanti as the Akal Takht jathedar.

He blamed both Mr Parkash Singh Badal and Mr Simranjit Singh Mann for the incidents of July 4 at Harmandar Sahib. He said while Mr Badal had made a political speech, Mr Mann was equally responsible for creating trouble there.

“He (Mr Mann) could have made his point in a proper way at some other forum instead of acting in a way that led to sacrilege of the bir,” he observed.

He apprehended that the programme of marches and dharnas announced by the panel would further complicate the matters. He said while reforms were important, these must be carried out in a proper manner.

You didnt mention the fact that during this press conference Ravi Inder Singh announced that Akali Dal(1920) would contest the coming elections along with former PM of India "V.P.Singh".

When you announce that you are contesting the elections 'along with' or with the" help of " some other non Sikh parties you yourself show your true colours.

This is my personal view but I think Sardar Mann and Bhai Bittu should lead this new movement under their leadership and form a smaller Panthic committee rather than including each and everyone in it.I feel most of the those present at the congregation at Fatehgarh Sahib were supporters of SAD(Amritsar) and Sikh rights.

I feel SAD(Amritsar) made such a big Panthic panel to give represention to different Sikh groups but still a much smaller Panthic panel is required.

I personally dont trust SAD(Longowal) leader Prem Singh Chandumajra either.Chandumajra has already "requested" badal to stop confrontation with Panthic groups and "stop" resistance to the Gurdwara Sudhar Lehar 2.Do Chandumajra and Ravi Inder Singh seriously believe that badal will listen to them ?

Actually it is not the parties but their leaders who have started showing their true colours.

The sooner they do the better it is.
