Some people are immature about the 5Ks and messes it up for all the law abiding Sikhs. When people act stupid it tends to make the whole group look stupid :

Some ppl seem to get a heart attack seeing someone wearing the beautiful kirpan. But up here in most places from where im from, everybody seems to be cool wit it. Im not amritdhari yet,,.. but Im saying it in general for apne lok. :umm:

However, I just think who cares what other people think about it, if they don't like it too bad, they don't see me complaining about white people blonde hair. :umm: Anyways, when I walk down the street, I MAKE SURE people can see my Kirpan, I make it visible so people KNOW I have a kirpan. I want them to be comfortable with it, whether they like it or not, they need to accept it, because it's a reflection of not only Canada, but the world. Plus, it's part of me, so they need to know I have it. :TH: :lol:

its actualy a criminal offense to ask a sikh to remove his kirpan in the u.k .. were people can actually loose their jobs for doing soo.... the most they can say is try not to wear it on the outside of your clothes

Yeah if you want the metal decectors to alarm and have you get a full search and might have to go into a separate room to take off your turban to prove you dont have a Kirpan in it.
