We only believe in 1 God but to praise God, we do use mythological entities to show that even they are under God and don't go after them. Same way, Guru Ji is saying that even what you call angels and gods are under the command of God. In other words, Guru Ji is saying that whatever great entity you create with your imagination, they are all below God.

God is the supreme....but that does not mean ghosts/angels/demi-gods do not exist.

Now you are acting like a pakhandi baba. Ghosts can be questionable but other things don't exist. Meaning Angels and demi-gods don't exist.

No? Who is 'Isreel Farista' (Angel) in Sheikh Farid Ji's Bani?? You should read the Guru Granth Sahib, and then comeback and revoke that statement....

Muslims believe azreal and gabriel and stuff while Hindus believe dharamraj, jums and devtas. Who is right? Both can't be right. They are used to get people on the right path. Bhagat Fareed Ji adressed to Muslims so used Muslim terminology. Bhagats mostly addressed hindus so used hindu terminology while Guru Ji addressed both and used terminology from both.

Remember Guru Ji said 1 Oankar and Kurtaa Purakh. Don't ever forget that.

Waheguroo jee ka Khalsa!

Waheguroo jee kee Fateh!

Remember the context with which this is written. At the time and place, this poetry is written where people believed in many gods, angels, devils, etc. So the easiest way for those people to understand the concept of Ik Onkaar is to say that "of all the gods, devils, demons, and angels, only one God controls them all."

... so the references to Gods, angels, devis, devis, demons, etc. is all relative. For a spiritually poor man, a spiritually rich person is an angel or a God. But to another spiritually rich person, the other spiritual individual is like a brother (nearly equal). But the key is that of all that is described, Waheguroo still lies on top.

Waheguroo jee ka Khalsa!

Waheguroo jee kee Fateh!

You seem to be confused....

Just because the Gurbani says devtas/Jumdhoot/Poot/pret exist don't mean they are worthy of worship.

Your statement about about them not all being 'right' explain to me why can't they be both right?? As

you seem to have much more knowledge of Gurbani and the intentions of the Guru's and Bhagats grin.gif .

BTW - Do you even know the definition of 'Azreal, Gabriel'and 'Dharamraj, Jums and Devtas'?
