Praying

The only place i really have in my house to pray is in my room, but doing it on the floor i dont really feel good about it because its the same place i comb my hair and everthing.

if i do it down stairs the only place is on the sofa. or i can doit on ma bed. Is it neceseery to do it on the floor and do u have to sit legs crossed.

Pyare Ji, referring to your question asking whether we should sit on the floor or not, here is something I was told by some Taksali Singhs. They said to me that, for the Sadkar of Bani, we shouldn’t sit on the floor (at home). We should always sit somewhere higher as furniture (bed and sofas) are around us, unless you have a special room for praying. And as the above Pyare Ji said, read Bani as long as you have love and devotion. Sant Mahapursh Brahm Gyani Kartar Singh Ji use to say to the Singhs “Read Bani because you enjoy reading it, NOT because you have to read it”

true, this may sound like a stupid question but when Singhs were fighting and had to stay in a jungle, where were they supposed to get their furniture from? and where did they read their bani?

Pyare Ji, I don't mean we have to bring furniture to the jungle. I meant, when we're at home, we should read bani at a higer position or place and not on the floor if furniture like bed/sofa is near you. I'm extremely sorry if I talk nonsense , as this moorakh has no buddhi, only Sangat can correct me.
