By his own actions, he is tied down, and in the end, he regrets and repents. ||1||

This shabad is so amazing. Its like Gurujee is showing you the mirror. I'd say its kind of freaky as well, as it says that Gurujee is watching every deed we do, no matter how secretly we attempt it, no matter how much we deny that we are being watched.

Another amazing shabad where the importance of taking refuge in Gurujee is stressed upon. Once we ask forgiveness for thousands of our mistakes, we become His slaves, and then He is free from any bonds and/or entanglements of the world. Without even telling, Waheguru knows the misery of our minds, the pain of our souls.

These panktees always make me feel so comforted, and SO BLESSED! We make many mistakes, some knowingly, some unknowingly. The ones done unknowingly are forgiven instantly, and the ones committed on purpose are forgiven as well, but only after an affectionate scolding and a cozy embrace. Vaaheguroo!!!!! What a desperate cry: " pishhalae aougun bakhas leae prabh aagai maarag paavai ".

His scolding is also so compassionate, and so sweet. And what adds sugar to it is the embrace that follows it : bahurr pithaa gal laavai
