Avtaar/Parkaash Purabh means when Guroo Saahib graced this Earth in their physical Roop. It shows more satkaar to say Avtaar or Parkaash Purabh rather than "Janam" because Janam mean birth - Guroo Saahib were not Born. If something/someone is born it/they must also die. Our Guroo Saahibs are Aad Sach Jugaad Sach Hai Bhee Sach Naanak Hosee Bhee Sach.

Hope that helps...

its according to bikarmi calender ... and was celebrated at takth patna sahib ... and i think also at takth hazzor sahib ( not sure ) ...

actually the problem is when nanakshahi calender was made ... takth patna sahib and takth hazzor sahib gave few suggenstions which are valid and akal takth sahibs jathedar promised a vichar on it ... but now they are avoiding it ... and think with time as other things these will go in cold storage bag for ever ... but patna sahib this year gave a signal that they are waiting for the vichar to be done and decision to be taken which was promised years back ... thats what i know rest i m not sure ... if there is any other reason

Avtar means to descend from an higher place to an lower place.

Sant ke ninda nanaka bahur bahur avtar.

So prakaash is the correct word to use.

About bikarmi jantri dates they are still used by deras (such as nanaksar) and takht hazur sahib and patna sahib.
