Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh

I read something very inspirational over the weekend and thought id share this with you guys.

There is a book called 'Amrit Jeevan' and its written by the son of Sant Gurbachan Singh Ji Bhindranwale on the life of Sant Sundar Singh Ji (the 11th Jathedhar of Damdami Taksal).

Singhs are currently scanning the book in, and while iv only read bits of it, its an amazing read of how bhagti is done with true love, for the purpose of love and only for love.

One section talks about the rules of Sant Ji for the Singhs who stayed to learn from them and stayed with the jatha.

Each Singh was required to do the following each morning before breakfast and listening to the asa di vaar da kirtan as an ABSOLUTE minimum.

Either,

Panj granthi nitnem

5 Sukhmani Sahibs

33 mala of Mool mantar

25,000 of vaheguru mantar (approx 232 mala's)

Given that for many Singhs this was just their morning nitnem, followed by a full day of learning various vidiya, doing more abhiyaas, doing seva and doing parchar, you can only try and imagine what living amongst that sangat must have been like!

True SADHSANGAT!!

And then look at our own ... :s
