they are real. best would be to listen to the katha of pandit mangal singh which is available on www.keertan.org

the main prediction is in the Bhavikhat Puran written by Rishi Ved Vyas. Also if you liste to Sant Gurbachan Singh Jis Katha or pick up their steek you may be able to find the quotes

^ that says, Guru Nanak Sahib is Vishnu's incarnation :D

yeh.. then it also goes on to say:

The Guru of the prophets, Brahma, Vishnu and Shiv ji is God almighty himself. This very Creator will manifest itself as a human, in the form of one whose name will be NANAK

... maybe there's a mis-translation somewhere along the lines too... i dunno..

Hindu texts have no historical context and have been altered and changed throughout history, how do we know what vedas or purana you read today wasn't changed 400 yrs ago?

BBC programme on India showed that Hinduism or so called Hinduism as its not really called that historically came from Turkmenistan !! along with the Vedas and was joined to other Indian folk lore,im not saying this history is ,like theirs talk of chariots in some storys and a certain plant which is not found in India and certain cities, which when the BBC wnt to an archeolgical site fond signs of old chariots, the plant which grows in turkmenistan and in Peshawar Pakistan,

WATH THIS VIDEO FROM 34MINS OR SO VERY INFORMATIVE ON VEDAS

Sarpanch i watched that programme and unfortunately the arguements and views are flawed. You can read the Book regarding the Aryans and Hindus and it does not make sense

However i will agree that alot of the Vedas have been mistranslated through the ages by Europeans leading to confusion. Things have since got better with the translations by Vivekanamd and Dayaram
