I would just like to offer the following explanation:

Nitnem:

- Can begin with Asa Di Vaar (CD) in musical form

i. Jap Ji Sahib

ii. Jaap Sahib

iii. Tav Prasad Swaiye

iv. Kabyo Bach Baynti Chaupai

v. Anand Sahib (as mentioned 40 pauri's)

vi. followed by online Hukamnama

vii. followed by Ardaas.

Afternoon:

- Sampooran Rehiraas Sahib

Sampuran_20Rehiras.pdf

Evening:

- Rakia Dai Shabad

- Kirtan Sohila

~ Consider the human hand, the digits are precisely in the sequence that they need to be for us to attain most benefit from it. Most importantly the opposing digit connects to all other 4 digits to allow Creative Tasks to occur, via writing with a pen, using tools, inventing all of life's little creations.

Coming to the reason of the sequence of Bani's I believe is as thus...

The importance of Jap Ji Sahib, is that you do Jap (or Japa - remembering with meditative embrance) of God, that is that God that is within you.

The importance of Jaap Sahib, is that you do Jaap (that is Praise, or give salutation to), of that God which is Omnipresent, and all pervading.

The importance of Tav Parsad Swaiye, is that you get a Sikhia (understanding), that all these great Rajas and Sultans have come to this world and left empty handed; that which they lost, is in your hands ie. Naam.

The importance of Kabyo Bach Baynti Chaupai, is that you pray for Baynti - and pray for baynti of others, this is obvious in the sequence of its composition.

The importance of Anand Sahib is that, now that you have contemplated God (Jap), Praised God (Jaap), have gained understanding (Swaiye), have prayed for Baynti (Chaupai), now all the elements come together to give you Anand (Bliss)- so is the song of sweet Bliss.
