NOTE: If you plan on attending the parade and you live on east coast, please call your guru ghar and ask them what time they are going to leave for the City. Sangat is advised to come with/on their gurughar's buses. There is no parking available anywhere near the parade route in the city. Private parking has been reserved for sewadars, guest speakers, and police only.

Time: Scheduled Time Is 10:00 AM - 2:30 PM (But, It will be around 5:00PM :D )

**** Annual Sikh Day Parade 2008 *****

Parade will be taken out in NEW YORK CITY (Manhattan) on 26th of April 2008 Saturday from 10AM to 2PM.

Parade shall start from 41st Street & Broadway ,

Shall walk down on Broadway till 24th Street MADISON AVENUE PARK.

Parade Route

All FUN & Frolic events shall be there.

Keertan, Gatkaa, NAAM simran, Guru Kaa Langar (Community Kitchen)

FREE VEGETARIAN FOOD & Non-Alcoholic Beverages FOR ALL.

Please bring your family, friends, known ones & unknown ones. Please pass on this information to others too.

Additionally, Anyone who is from this forum lives near gurughars of NJ and NY, please try to go to your local or any gurughar tommorow (Friday) in the evening time to help out in the preprations for langar, sweats, dishes, and what so not. Please pass it on and please call your guru ghar to confirm the timing as different guru ghars will begin sewa at different time.

ON SUNDAY buses will leave all guru ghars in b/w 8-10 AM depending on your location, please make sure that you get to gurughar on time and not miss out. Again please call your guru ghar to confirm.
