On Sunday 29th June 2008 in Southall local Sikh Youths in association with Dal Khalsa UK,held a rally protest outside Sri Guru Singh Sabha Southall ( Biggest Gurdwara outside India),agianst the Cult Dera Sacha Sauda.The Sikhs present also handed out leaflets in both English and Panjabi explaining to passers by and sangat what is happening on the Sirsa issue,and how the Dera terrorists shot dead an unarmed Sikh called Shaheed Bhai Balkar Singh in Bombay.Among other things sangat was made aware of the dangers of deravadh and dehdhari Gurus who are attacking the panth as we speak with the support and co operation of the Indian Government.

You may know of the actions of the Dera Sacha Sauda last year and how their leader Ram Raheem dressed as Guru Gobind Singh Ji & imitated him by creating his own Amrit.

This attack on the 10th Guru and Sikhism sent shockwaves across the Panjab,Sikhs rose to protect the honour of the Panth and their Ideals.

Mass protests across Panjab were held thousands were arressted and attacked by Sacha Sauda Cultists and the Police,one Singh became Shaheed,Martyered - Bhai Kamaljit Singh Ji he was shot dead by Sauda Cultists with Govt support.

A year later the Dera leader Ram Raheem who has rape cases and other known cases registered agianst him by victims is given Z PLUS security by the Indian Govt-equal to the protection given to India's PM.He is allowed to get away with murder rape and causing communal disharmony.

This man is a

*Murderer

* Self Styled Guru who loots the poor in the name of Charity

* A rapist as confirmed by several female ex devotees who were sexually abused and raped by this evil man

He is backed by anti Sikh elements to try and help disintergrate the Sikh Nation and eradivate it from its homeland Panab - Khalistan.

WHY WE ARE PROTESTING

Last week in Bombay the Dera leader arrived to open a shopping mall ,Sikhs gathered to protest and demand his arrest as they have been doing for the past year.As the Dera leader was leaving in his Jeep convoy, one of his guards, SHOT DEAD AN INNOCENT UNARMED SIKH - named :

Sikhs carried out Mass protests in Bombay after this killing but the Dera leader and his convoy were free to go back to where they wished,the Police did nothing instead they beat and attacked unarmed Sikh men ,women, children and elders openly in front of the National Media.

After this the ShivSena,an extremsit Hindu group in Bombay with links to the Fanatical RSS Hindu terrorist group,made a threat to Sikhs that if they do protest again they will hit back ,they also said Sikhs should remember November 1984 (Sikh Genocide)& what happened to them.

This was an open threat to Sikhs that they cannot protest peacefully,the Police don't let them,rather they support groups like ShivSena and RSS.

To date 2 Singhs and 1 Child (shot in the head by the BSF) so far have died and became Shaheed in the campaign against this Sacha Sauda cult.

1,500 Sikhs as of Friday 26th June have been arressted across Panjab for peacefully protesting the killings and continuous injustice.

We in the UK are free to protest and have to take a stand and show our Sikh brothers and Sisters that we are with them at this hard time and will support them in every move they take.

Dal Khalsa UK along with the Southall Sikh youths present warned the ShivSena and Hindutva groups to stop harrasing Sikhs within the Indian Union and to not make threats against the Sikh nation,for it was the Sikh Nation who stood up to defend freedom of the oppressed and weak throughout history and not the Khaki Nazri worshipping Hindutva brigades who continue to spew venom agianst the Panth,within India as well as outside India.In a show of solidarity Sikhs present openly showed their opposition to Dehdhari Gurus who are damaging the Sikh Nation by burning effigies of the Rapist Ram Rahim,along with pictures of Jagjit Namdhari(Fanatical Namdhari Cult),Gurinder(Radhaswami),Gurbachna(Narkhdhari).Darshan Das, and other self styled Gurus who are out to destroy the Sikh Panth with the support of the fanatical Hindutva Indian Establishment.The flags of the RSS,ShivSena,Bajrang Dal along with the Tiranga were thrown in along with the effigy .

Shaheed Bhai Balkar Singh was also declared a hero of the Sikh Nation and his photos were plasted outside Sri Guru Singh Sabha Southall Havelock Road in tribute to him and also to send a message to the Indian Govt.that even sitting thousands of miles away we stand firm with our Sikh Brothers and Sisters who are facing mass human rights abuses and state terrorism as seen before the launch of Operation Bluestar

More Sikhs should do protests in their local areas

Will try and get hold of video and more pictures as soon as possible, I think we should all do similiar style protests in our local Gurdwareh this will send the clearest message yet to the Indian Govt of Sikh Activism up and down the UK,usually they put the London rallys down to 'extremists' and 'fanatics',but if we start rallys agianst Choota Sauda ,Indian Govt anti Panthic cults at our own Gurdwareh it will really help in several ways:

*Local Youth/Community/Community members will be aware of events,alongside being actively involved

*People can't use excuses like it's too far away I can't make it and so on as the rally would be outside your local Gurdwara or another location in Sikh Populated towns,like Birmingham which has countless Gurdwareh,Coventry,Smethwick, and places like Gravesend and others.

*All Jathe in a certain area can link up and come together on the occasion and can later use these links for major rallys like in Central London - eg: The next big one will be on August 15th outside the Indian Embassy.

*In most cases you won't need the Gurdwara commitee permission, as you may know Singh Sabha Southall is very Anti Panthic,and the commitee is pro India pro RSS(even attended an RSS celebration,video on youtube).Regardless of that we did not seek any permission from them as it was the sangats wish to have a protest - being wise the commitee stayed away on the sidelines and did not interfere.

*The Indian Govt,will be very very shaken at the news of Gurdwareh up and down the UK full of activism ,by Sikhs who are UK born as well as other members of the Sikh Commnity,this will be a very clear and loud message.Singh Sabha Southall- Biggest Gurdwara outside India,whatever goes on there - the Indian Govt and its agencies get informed,so sangat at major Gurdwareh,like GNG Smethwick and so on are requested to carry out similar protests.

*Most of our community do not even know what is going on and why,protests like these are a very good time to inform all members of the Sikh Community of whats going on and it also ensures that more awareness is created.

So a humble benti to all the major groups and jathe around the UK such as Taksali,Akhand Kirtan Jatha and others to carry out similar protests in the comming weeks,we need to wake up the people around us now is the time

You have our full support,you would only need Govt permission if it was for example outside a town hall or another such place,if it's going from one Gurdwara or another,you could do what we did last year, use the Pavement for the protest you hardly need any permission for that,and at most 3 community support officers will come just to keep things in order.

This year we just did the protest outside the major gurdwara instead of taking it on road due to time constraints and the speed of events within Panjab ,if you have good relations with the Gurdwara commitee 'inform' them of the protest ,like we did last year,so technically we did not seek permission we just told them we are having a protest from on this day at this time.This year we did not even do that,we just held it and they stood back.

As Gravesend is similar to Southall in terms of Sikh Community I would say take the protest from 1 Gurdwara to another if possible,if not then just try and do one outside the Maiin major Gurdwara within Gravesend.In order to get more sangat keep it on a Sunday as most people have day off's at the time and a lot of youths are on holiday at this time as well so they're more likely to attened.

If you wish to hand out any leaflets you are free to use the text in the press release,it would be great if you held one as then Singhs in other areas would do the same and it will really awaken the UK sangat.For promotion just make a simple poster post it here and at local Gurdwareh,and email it to radio stations like Akash Radio,Panjab Radio and other local Sikh Stations

yh thats it!! ima organise one!! im just trying to look for the Gurdwara's number then i can call them and let them know about it. I think that would be best for gravesnd, from one Gurdwara to another, ill also tell my m8 coz he's in the gsend police lol so i can get him to sort that out!! Im thinkin Sunday 13th July. Yeah after 3 is ok as most people wake up after a late saturday night lol at miday,jus get 3/4 boys togther for a few banners and that like the main organisers and the sangat usualy comes itself ,the cops should be fine with it - should send a few community support officers down at most,as it would be from one Gurdwara to another so they'l know your going to keep moving ,13th is a good date and is enough time as well for promotion in the local area shops ,Gurdwareh and so on, oh yeah the desi builders are also usualy off on Sundays forgot to mention that lol loads of them would pop like down here

Birmingham where you @ any representatives from B;ham here or Smethwick,Cov? Sikhs need one there as well you guys can do a protest from 1 Gurdwara to 3 as you've got so many lol
