the vichaar on this shabad can be endless... but guru ji has bless the understanding of this shabad in a way that even a murakh like can figure out what guru ji is trying to say.

"Jis Thoo Raakhehi This Koun Maarai"

Maarai= daas personally think that maarai does not only mean physical death. this could be a situation where you are in trouble and guru ji helps you and save you or this could be a bad accident where you are saved untouched etc.

there are thousands of examples that you can take from sikh history where singhs have always won the battle because they has guru ji's kirpa.

IMHO it could mean any type of death. We know that Guru Saheb has already written when each of us is to leave this world. If we are close to dying before our time has come, Guru Ji will save us from it. Baba Deep Singh Ji. In a spiritual sense, someone who has taken refuge in Akaal Purakh's charan can never really be touched by anyone or anything. The perpetrator may think that they are torturing such a Sikh, or that the Sikh has been killed but once a person is at such a high stage they have already merged into Guru Ji's light and it no longer matters how their physical being dies. The main point is that Maharaj can give the highest type of protection anyone can imagine, even if that protection bypasses the common laws of logic or physics.

WJKK WJKF!!!

this shabad can be translated in many ways, but this is how i would interpretate it.

Mahraj constantly speaks of how bhaghats were saved in all the jugs (ages), "har jug jug bhagat upaia ramraje harnaksh dusht har maria, prahlad taria" (in each age a bhagat had come, mahraj killed prahlads enemy harnaksh)

also, there are stories of the mahabharat, draupadi was saved by krishan avtaar from being stripped naked by duroydhan.

Alot of shabads made by guru ji were really questions and answers, questions that gursikhs posed and answers mahraj gave.

Who can kill that person whom You protect, O Lord?

the example of draupadhi, dhru bhagat and prahlad can be put here. Those who remember mahraj with shardha, how can they be killed? physical pain is nothing to a gurmukh.

it may not neccessarily be physical death, in todays situations, some people take amrit and then within a few years from now they give that up...saying that it was too hard. in that sense, it can be argued that this person has spiritually died. mahraj says how can someone, who has takens mahrajs sanctuary be killed? those who have so much pyaar and shardha in them...how can they be killed in this sense?

All beings, and the entire universe, is within You.

Mahraj has created a wonderful asthaan, and everything is under mahraj da hukam. dukh and sukh are exactly the same thing, in dukh we remember god, and eventually we gain sukh...dukh sukh hai sukh.

WJKK WJKF!
