Congratulations Singh and Singhnio.

This dusht and his chelas are guilty of burning several saroops of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji.

This dusht has also written his own Granth, in which he makes a mockery of Sikh Gurus and Sikh "Rituals".

He has been sentenced to 5 years imprisonment along with 5 of his chelas.

I'm not sure on what charges..

AMBALA: Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ambala, Parveen Kumar Saturday sentenced three years imprisonment and a fine of Rs.3000 each to Baba Piyara Singh Bhaniarawala and 5 others in a kidnapping and manhandling case registered against them in 1999 in Noorpur Bedi police station falls in Ropar district here today.

Later the court granted bail to Bhaniarawala and other accused on furnishing the bail bond of Rs. 25,000 each. The others who were granted bail include Harjinder, Lakshman, Gurcharan, Surmukh and Jasmer.

It is to be mentioned that this case along with other half a dozen cases was transferred to Ambala court on the direction of Punjab and Haryana High Court a few years back. A few cases on charge of hurting the religious sentiments of a community against Bhaniarawala are pending in the courts of Ambala.

According to prosecution Dr. Kamaljeet Singh, a resident of Noorpur Bedi had filed a complaint with the police that Bhaniarawala and his 5 accomplishes had beaten him when he tried to rescue Darshan Singh whom they were thrashing. On his complaint the police had registered a case against Bhaniarawala and 5 others.

Bhaniarawala came in the light during the last regime of Akali government when a number of cases were registered against him for hurting the religious sentiments of Sikh community. Around three years back a murderous attack was made on him in Ambala city when he was coming out of the court. After this incident the Punjab and Ambala police had made tight security arrangement for him during his visit to Ambala court.
