Akhand Paat For Jinda Sukha

There will be a Akhand Paat held at Park Avenue Gurdwara for Shaheed Harjinder Singh Jinda AND Shaheed Sukhdev Singh Sukha at 8:00AM SUNDAY 2ND November.

It will also show respect to all shaheeds throughout sikh history.

Short profile description on the 2 singhs that became to be known as the legend of Jinda Sukha is given below:

Shaheed Harjinder Singh Jinda and Shaheed Sukhdev Singh Sukha

Harjinder Singh Jinda and Sukhdev Singh Sukha were both prominant member of Khalistan Commando Force. They together, were responsible for ridding the world of many evil persons. Their high profile killings included:

- Arjan Dass (congress man who played big part in 1984 anti sikh riots)

- Lalit Maken (Congress member of Parliament )

- General Vaidya (chief of Army)

Lalit maken assasination

Perhaps one of the their most famous assinations was that of congress party member Lalit maken.

Sukhdev Singh Sukha, Harjinder Singh Jinda and Ranjit Singh Gill shot him down on July 31st 1985. They gunned him down as he was heading towards his car across the road in New Delhi. As they fired, lalit maken ran towards his house for cover. Then they escaped on their scooters, as famously depicted in many pictures of Jinda Sukha.

General Arun Vaidya

On August 10, 1986 General Arun Vaidya, the architect of Operation Bluestar was shot to death by Jinda and Sukha while he was driving his car. Jinda and Sukha pulled up next to his car on scooters and fired shots into the car, killing the retired General.

Arjan Dass

Arjan Dass was also assassinated by the Jinda Sukha because of his involvement in 1984 Anti-Sikh riots. Arjan Dass played a big hand in killing of sikhs in anti sikh riots of 84.

trying circumstances

Both shaeeds are respected very highly by the sikh community worldwide and are seen as the upholders of justice. They carried out difficult assinations if evil persons during the most difficult of circumstances, when there was a big clamp down on sikhs by the punjab police. At a time when innocent sikhs were being round up and killed indiscriminately by punjab police, jinda and sukha delivered great sewa to the sikh koum and glady gave their lives when they were sentenced to death. They pleaded not Guilty , saying that they people they had killed were "guilty of a serious crime, the punishment for which could only be death". They laughed at the sentence of death delivered to them.

The execution

For the execution, 4 Deputy Police Commissioners, 10 assistant Police Commissioners, 14 inspectors, 145 sub-inspectors and 1275 officers had been assigned.

The two Singhs climbed the gallows with smiles. They had wanted to bring sweets for the executioners, but perhaps they were not allowed. They kissed their nooses and even though they wanted to put them around their own necks, were not allowed to do so. The time had come and according to Bhai Nirmal Singh, Bhai Jinda shouted loudly to Bhai Sukha, "Veer Sukhiaa! Roar a Fateh!" He then heard jaikaras. And then they stopped.

Bhai Sukha and Bhai Jinda were kept hanging for 30 minutes. They were hung together.

Bole so nihal....sat sri akaal.

hey hey singh ji u mst b mistaked, eni badi post ta la tee ithe lol man its akhand path in memory of shaheed bhai beant singh, bhai satwant singh and bhai kehar singh jii .... who assasinate indira .... dere was already akhand path done in memory of bhai sukha nd jinda few weeks ago in same gdw ... i thin 3 weeks now... lol here u go wit some mor wrk... if u pls find out a bit of description abt them... den copy paste it.. it wud b appreciated..lool
