Dasam Bani Difference

I've often wondered about this thukh as well....can anyone provide some clarification?

there are some minor differences in the puratan Sri Dasam Granth sahib saroops, so that is why we have small differences in the Pothis from Taksals, Dals, and SGPC.

Pick a version and concentrate on memorizing that one, don't get caught up in shanka.

I believe the Taksal relies on the Patna Sahib saroop and also Baba Deep Singh ji and Bhai Mani Singh ji Nitnem Pothis as their source.

There are different Sri Dasam Granth birs (copies)

1) Bhai mani singh compiled bir

2) Baba Deep Singh compiled bir

3) Historical bir at Patna Sahib

4) Another historical bir in the library of Sangrur

Also the numbers are not equal in these birs. But many Banis from these birs appear from the same one source.

There r many saroop s of Dasam granth sahib ji having difference in bani . Taksali pothi s r in Larevaar . other have also some differences in PATNA SAHIB S SAROOP UGRADANTI is there these bani we cannot find in any other saroop . Bhai daya singh ji gurudwara at Aurangabad where jafarnamah was give to aurangjeb by bhai daya singh historical gurudwara sahib i. here one saroop of dasam granth sahib in which we find bhagauti astroter & braham kavach . there to many differences between the sanchis of DAL PANTH , TAKSALI & any other sanchis .

atlest 5 years ago there r new SAROOP S R Available in Hazur sahib these saroop s taking two or three year for sudhikaran of path . Baba Ram singh ji ( DHUPIA OF TAKHAT SAHIB ) & other singh do these duty . More than 80 puratan Hand written Saroop s all over in India was checked , sahaj path do by these singh

After doing these hard duty atleast 2 3 years these r ready. These saroop s r availbe at Hazur sahib .

The unfortunate fact is there seem to be some slight differences in printed and other versions of Dasam Bani.

I'd like to encourage everyone not to pick on some one who is doing path and happens to pronounce a word different from your gutka's.
