In this world, there are followers and there are leaders

There are those who work towards greatness, and those who have greatness thrust upon them

One who Trust's in God, is separated from the way of the world.

That person, who has full faith in the Guru, and does not Trust the way of others,

Who Trust's that the Guru is working in mysterious ways in their life,

Single minded places their faith in the One God, and fixes the mind upon the Divine

To that person the path is shown, and no barriers are placed upon it...

For that person, the Guru arranges all of the affairs of mind, body and soul.

I know exactly what you are asking and it is a legitimate question for any human being to ask....How do we know what religion is right or what religion is wrong? If Sikhi is right why didnt it come way before any other religion.....How do we know what we are doing right now will effect our lives after death? According to christians,Jews and Muslims this world is supposed to end and the messiah will come back...Jesus will re appear as a savior...then what will happen to atheists, sikhs and others who believe in their gods, their believes?

Whoever asked this question all I can say is believe in a strong power or Sikhs call it wahegurooo.....religion is man made for this world....religion is common sense which teaches mankind and a human nature towards each other...Religion is life lessons to learn from and to teach the righteous things instead being mislead to the dark. Religion is no magic or like a diamond buried under the ground....Even without religion mankind would survive but only the rare ones would lead a good life by not killing, stealing or other dark things but with religion humans are taught what is harmful to our environment and to our safety. Believe in yourself, dont waste your time asking about religion, which can never be questioned..Do good for others and yourself and keep your life positive as much as you can.....

Read Japji Sahib once with full concentration 3 in the morning and everything will be answered. Don't pay attention to public opinion; whenever you have a question just take a Hukam from Guru ji and your question will be answered. Everyone is on a different level of spirituality and to what makes sense to them is not always the right answer. Do paath from Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji and read Bhai Gurdaas ji's vaars, whatever you do, don't pay attention to public opinion. This is how i started off, only consulted Guru ji. The more you pay attention to public opinion the more losted you will be because one person will tug you one way and another the other way. Stay away from discussion sites unless you feel comfortable stepping on broken glass.

First, see the two. Your soul and your ego.

Then put your ego aside, say bye to it. And concentrate on your soul.

BELIEVE your SOUL. It never lies. Listen to it SOONer the better.

People will tell you many things but when that same problem attacks their houses, the rules will start to mend for their selfishness. So believe your SOUL because it is a part of GOD. Therefore, a truth because GOD is the truth itself.

Do not be blinded by doubts. Doubts makes you wonder and wonder...Aimlessly, Uselessly, Pointlessly!

ਇਕ ਮਨਿ ਏਕੁ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਮਨ ਕੀ ਲਾਹਿ ਭਰਾਂਤਿ ॥

eik man eaek dhhiaaeeai man kee laahi bharaanth ||

With one-pointed mind, meditate on the One Lord, and the doubts of your mind will be dispelled.

Well... nice questions. Basically, the activities of this world are in DUBIDHA. To remove dubidha, we need BIBEK and bibek comes from Naam. Naam abhiyaas will slowly lead to LIV. Basically LIV is the KEY, once u have the liv, thoughts of ur mind will vanish and ur intellect/wisdom will MERGE with the Supreme Soul ie Waheguru jee.
