Have a toad in my computer

i have a frog/toad in my computer :umm: . the fans become realy noise and i get funny sounds from the tower. any one got any clues. :D @ its more anoying the any thing

ur fan is probably touching some kind of wire..or the fan doesn't always spin freely.. something is probably in it way...

Yeah, you oughta try opening up the computer, but DON'T DO IT WITHOUT A GROUNDING STRAP. Otherwise, you'll go from this :umm: to this :'(

If you can't find a wire or something else a fan might be brushing against, one of your computer fans might be on its way to death. Open up the comp and try to pinpoint which fan it is. If it can be replaced, replace it. If you don't know how to and it looks complex, find a friend who can do it or take it to a repair shop.

or it just needs to be cleaned....

another thign could be that your hardrive is damaged and you might need to get it replaced. Used to get similar sounds from the harddrive of the last computer and found out it had been badly infected by a virus. So just be careful. If it's got somethign to do with your harddrive then make sure u backup your important files.....

I find that when, my virus scanner is scanning, the processor usage sometime go to 100%. This sometime as we know makes a lot of noise. So check if some program is making ur processor usage 100%.

thanks to all. its a dell which is like 2 yrs old. ive e-mailed them, other wise ill open it up. or get a friend to look at it.
