Guru Pyario,

We cannot second guess how Guru Sahib acts / reacts in a any given situation.

We can look to our deep history for examples.

Why are such violations taking place?

JAAAGRATI!

While Sikhs sleep there homes are being looted, Guru Sahibs Sikhs these days are more motivated by dirty politics and who sits at the top of the tree.

In this beautiful life darkness exists. In this chakar dishonour and disrespect are here to stay just llike dukh and sukh. If these things do not happen and did not happen there would be no need for Puraten Shaheeds.

Kaum sadi shaheeda di just maharaj writing a play for the next souls of sacrifice.

There are bhagats out there also but they are rare like the musk of deer.

I remeber being at a Kirtan Darbar in Leicester Feb 2004, Bhai Kuljeet Singh Ji said in his speech that Sikhs are looking for a leader but we have a leader if only we were to realise, When Sikhs realise that our Leader is Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji we will have to follow every instruction.

Prema Bhagti is the only cure to the roag.

Nanaksar Bhagti Da Ghar

Dhan Dhan Baba Nand Singh Ji

If you seek wisdom talk to Guru Sahib by reading Gurbani. If you see weaknesses in Panth rid yourself of them first.

I am not bothered by your personal attack, but for the sake of the forum, you may want to think twice.

Nonetheless, what did Guruji say to Bhai Kanhaiya? When you encounter a enemy who has killed your Khalsa brothers and he is in medical need give him a thrashing? No, Guruji said the enemy is not the person but the oppresion. Once the threat is removed, the person is not degraded or finished off, but given water and assisted.

This person should have been immediately removed, had psychiatric evaluations, given treatment and/or humane punishment as necessary. Those who were thrashing need an education and behaved like Guruji’s darbar was some back lane (the guy was probably mentally ill, what was their excuse for being so crass in guruji's darbar?); collective thrashings in such a situation are disrespectful and actually add to the insult.

Agreed 100%, I highly doubt Guru would ask his Sikhs to give someone with obvious mental health issues a thrashing because of such an incident, and the ones condoning such anger fueled vengeance have completely lost the plot of Guru's teachings.

Veeray, based on the incident today (May 11) where someone threw water on Guru Sahib IN Akal Takhat would you say this is another case of of someone with "mental health issues"? There is a stark contrast between "anger fueled vengeance" and demanding that the proper sathkar is shown for Guru Sahib.

Based on the most recent incident, NOW do you think that the Singh's were justified in using the force that they did?
