on prof surinder singh stint on sunday the cameras seemed to be set up to focus only on the non-naamdharis members of his group. Surjeet Singh, sarangi, and Ranbir Singh, taus were not shown at all once. Only Prof, the Rababi girl and the tabla player were shown. their voices could be heard and thier solo's but they were not shown.

yes i noticed tht as well. why is the sikh channel playing stupid games. you either ban the namdharis from coming to your show alltogather or allow them. why go so low and and make a fool out of yourself by acting so ignorant by doing stupid acts.

it would be interesting to here what the sikh channel has to say about this.

Maata No: 13, passed by 5 Singh Sahibaan on 24th October 2000 at Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Amritsar, Punjab.

In relation to Namdharis and Kirtan in Gurdwara Sahibs, 5 Singh Sahibaan agreed that those who do not believe in the 10 Gurus and Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji as their salvation, and instead believe in Dehdhari Gurus and Devi Devte cannot be permitted to do Kirtan in Gurdwara Sahibs.

Benti to the Sikh Channel. This issue is putting a black mark against all the other good work of the Sikh Channel. In accordance with Akaal Takhath Hukumnaamas, the Sikh Channel must ban all Naamdharis from doing keertan on the channel. The least they could do is clarify their stand on this issue.

Sikh Channel need to clarify ASAP whether they follow the Akaal Takhath Matta, and if so, they need to ensure that they don't give the Naamdharis any time on the channel going forwards.

Exclusion isn't really an integral part of Sikhi, it is because of breaches of Maryada that we have to bring this in to place, in many cases people are excommunicated not for the panth but Vedanti. I do however believe we are to follow instructions from Akal Takht as mistakes by leaders are often rectified at a later date. There is no way shape or form we can even contemplate whether there are any Guru's other than Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj after Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, that in my eyes not a form of Sikhi and is disrespectful to Maharaj's hukam of 'GURU MANEYO GRANTH'. Naamdharis shouldn't be banned and put in a closet, just not put forward to represent Sikhi on any scale, as they don't practice it, people on here have been saying the Sikh channel are doing this and this, but I think the perfect solution to that would be to close all media organisations so then these people can realise how ignorant and stupid they are and how they are stopping the growth and promotion of Sikhi.

LOL what total bull crap. if it wasent for the namdharis raj academy wouldent exist. if kooke are so ignorant in stopping growth and promating sikhi we wouldent have tought these lot raag vidiya and kept it to ourself. instead we are teaching everyone who wishes to learn raag vidiya and the puratan saaz of our guru sahibs to preserve our history rather than the local gurudhwara playing bollywood tune shabads which is "major beadbi" i guess kooke launching santhiya cds of all of ad granth sahib and dasam granth sahib is stopping the growth of sikhi as well. the namdhari who did katha on guru gobind singh ji strictly on sikh channel is also attacking sikhs by giving them knowledge about guru gobind singh ji strictly ...but chalo everything happens according to akaal purakhs hukam.
