why only husband or only a wife cannot amrit chhak sakde. I have asked many persons. But sade kol ik bhai sahib kehnde ne kyonki meri wife amrit nahin chhakna pasand kardi ki usnu apni wife ton divorce lai laina chahida hai.?

Well the basic thing is why most panj pyare say if you are married that you can't take amrit if your partner doesn't want is, that for example a wife wants to take amrit but the husband is somebody who eats meat and drinks sharab. That this doesn't sound good. Both should be at least following the rehit or try to follow it.

Sure there are cases you can explain to the panj pyare. And surely they will say you can take amrit even if your partner dun want. It's not a big deal.

If you do truthful deeds, serving God in others and be nothing, doing naam simran, purifying yourself and bringing into divine qualities, the amrit is inside you, so you have to work towards it which is obviously by leading a truthful and pure life.

You dont become amrit-dharee just by taking initation, Amrit means GOD, and if you are amrit dhari then it means you have realised God in all your sense, overcome your panj doots, died the death of ego and realised God fully, if you are not that, then you are not amrit dharee.

Then you will be accounted as one of the pakhands like me LOL!

She is your wife as part of destiny, you do your thing and let her do her's. Just coz one person is not willing to do bhagti the other person has the right to do it, end of it, its foolish if someone says if or but.

in certain cases husband or wife can chhak amrit separately. you have to go before panj piyare and ask their advice and permission. i know more than one women who has had the misfortune of a paapi husband and has been granted amrit alone. every case is different so just go ask the panj. no one can help you on an internet forum.

Because one cant have relations with their suppose unless they are AmritChhak. There is a rehatnama that states this. I cant find it but it does exist.

If someone is already married and their spouse does not exist then thats difficult especially if the couple has children. A person needs to live up to their responsibility to raise the children. It is possible to be married, and raise children without having relations with your spouse. Who knows eventually the person might change if they are exposed to Sikhi in the household.

If a one partner was to take amrit then then they are not to have aphysical relationship with the other partern as they are a patit. There fore anyone can take amrit alone but need to have self cotnrol over lust

One only becomes patit if a bujjer kurehit is committed AFTER becoming amritdhari. The word does not apply to non-amritdhari folks.
