The Importance of Hierarchy. Some Thoughts and Opinions.

May the Guruu be Pleased with me One Day.

It is important for the new generation of AmritDhaaree GurSikhs all over the world to understand the effects of ranks. It is important for us to understand politics and its long and short term effects. It is important to understand Gurdwaara Politics. We know Politics affects Legislature Internationally and Nationally, and trickles down to our cities and municipalities. It affects our laws and governance, it affects our taxes and incomes, it even affects our potentials as well as protects us from wrongdoings. Here I will try to share some thoughts on the importance of Hierarchy within our ‘Gurdwaaras’.

I will start from the SGPC and attempt to opinionate locally, even into our very homes. I hope I can communicate the concept that I am trying to share.

First think of it as a pyramid. There is a tip, and it expands to a broad based bottom. Here I will refer to the tip as the ‘shot-caller’. The ‘shot-caller’ lays down the ‘laws’ and ‘concepts’ of how they ‘feel’ or ‘want’ the institutions to be run. For GurSikhs, the ‘Shot-Caller’ is the Guruu. But in politics, which effects our ‘Gurdwaaras’, the ‘shot-caller(s)’ are individuals, or a collection of individuals with a particular agenda; sometimes good and sometimes evil.

The ‘shot-caller’ then assigns a ‘manager’ or ‘managers’ or ‘president(s)’ etc.. If the ‘shot-caller’ is corrupt, they will assign a corrupt ‘manager(s)’. In the current case of the SGPC and DSGMC, the shot caller would be the ‘Ruling Family’, and the executor of the agenda would be the ‘President’. The President then assigns a series of ‘managers’. And then these managers assign a series of other level managers etc., who hire workers etc.etc. ( ‘Printing of GurBaani’-where major disrespect has been evident and Proven,‘Gyanees’, ‘Keertanies’, ‘Langarees’,’Account Managers’, ‘Money Distributors’, ‘Lawyers’,’Decision Makers’ etc. etc.). This way, the ‘shot-caller’ has ensured that their agenda is followed. This Hierarchy can run involving thousands of individuals, or a small number of individuals. If the ‘shot-caller’ is corrupt, corruption is evident all the way to the workers at the bottom of the Hierarchy ensuring that the ‘shot-caller(s)’ agenda is being executed. If the ‘Shot-Caller’ is principled, then the effects are positive.

With this method, all activities are monitored and controlled from the tip. From Finances to the Philosophy being preached. If the ‘shot-caller’ is corrupt, donations will be stolen and be used against the reason it was donated for, donated by unsuspecting ‘Shardaalus’; for example – donations to preach Gurmat will be used to preach Durmat and Pakhand. Where they came to learn about the ill effects of alcohol both Spiritually and Physically, the very monies they donated can be used to distribute alcohol. Manmat can also be preached in the guise of Gurmat. Rival ‘Shot-Callers’ fight each other in the guise of GurMat. ‘Shot-Callers’ need to be Niskhaam GurSikhs – they need to be the New Generation Educated, Income Earning, Content, RehitVaan, AmritDhaaree Gursikhs. True GurSikhs in Thought, Word and Deed. We must ensure The Righteous come to Power. With Diplomacy, we will beat the corrupt at the very game they feel they have perfected. We will plant the Seeds of Peace, Truth and Transparency. The Bells on the Bows of The Sarangis will be echoed from Corner to Corner. We will know the Art of Politics. True Justice will Prevail. After all, we are the children of the Spiritual and Political Leader of all Realms, the True Jathedaar of All Realms, Guru HarGobind Sahib Jee. It is crucial the True Khalsaa become the ‘Shot-Callers’. It is also crucial we do not be influenced by those who use the uniform of the Khalsaa, but in Thought and Deed are otherwise, and innocently hand them the positions of ‘Shot-Callers’. We cannot know their thoughts, though sometimes they reveal their hidden agendas either mistakenly or blatantly, we must be cautious to their words, and we must Expose Their MisDeeds. We must Strive to become Khalsaa within our Homes, and simultaneously do what we can to change our surroundings to bring upon Peace and Truth as Known to The Khalsaa to the World. Khalsaa Institutions should belong to and be Run by The Khalsaa. The New Generation RehitVaan Khalsaa.

See this in politics. If a ‘minister’ is corrupt, they will assign corrupt and un-principled heads of departments such as police, educational institutions, etc. This may be more common knowledge in developing nations. It is more blatant. This way it is almost guaranteed, that the Hierarchy will guarantee their agendas are followed through and through. The Hierarchy will ensure only those are hired etc. who will be loyal. This Hierarchy starts from the ‘shot-caller(s)’, and then trickles down to the common worker working for ‘their cause’, and thus affecting the entire society. Principled Khalsaa ‘Shot-Callers’ shall occupy their seats with Humility and Conviction.

If ‘shot-callers’ in ‘Gurdwaaras’ are un-principled, then Preachers attempting to share True Gurmat Principles will not be allowed to share Their Message. Proper Maryaada will not be ensured. Donations will be used against Gurmat, but collected in the name of Gurmat. Abuse, Alcohol Abuse, Rituals, Superstitions, Caste System, People Leaving the Guruu, Slander against the Guruu and His Baani, Teachings against Khande-Pahul or Amrit Sanchaar by Tyaar bar Tyaar Panj Pyareh, Lax in Maryadaa to the Darbaar, Degh, Keertan, Langar, Sevaadaars, etc. with be abundant, even the Guruu in His Purest form will not be Parkaashed. Adoption, working for and donating to Environmental/Human Rights/Animal Rights/Homeless Shelters etc. will not be encouraged. Do corrupt Committees even donate to those whom come seeking help for operations etc.? Committees should take the initiative to determine if the Charitable Cause being sought is genuine, and if it so, should full heartedly offer their support financially and otherwise. This is the way of The Khalsaa.

The Sangat that arrives at the ‘Gurdwaaras’ are influenced by the status quo and then become activists for ‘Wrong’, ‘DurMat’, ‘ManMat’, etc. often. They encourage alcohol, meat and break themselves and others from the teachings and lifestyle of the True Khalsaa. They use the Golak of the Guruu to open bars and banquet halls, and use their sharp tongues to justify such acts. But know one thing as well, they will ensure certain conditions are met. They will provide Langar, they will provide facilities etc. to keep the Sangat occupied and happy. They have to ensure their ‘customers’ are happy first. Then they can loot them. They will constantly have projects that they are ‘working on’, to continue the flow of ‘income’. Why should a ‘GurDwaaraa’ have a debt? We are Inpired by the Guruu, we ask from the Guruu, we don’t need to ask third parties for any assistance. We Help others. As long as it seems there is a shortage of ‘Money’, the ‘Shardaalus’ will donate. Oh Corrupt Committees with your neat turbans and evil eyes. Oh Corrupt Committees with your sweet speech but your evil grin.

The new Generation Khalsaa must ensure Transparency. The new Generation Khalsaa will Serve the Sangat in True Khalsaa Fashion. They will inspire and overwhelm the Sangat and the entire World by the True Khalsaa Principles, so much so, that the Sangat themselves will become Khalsaa and further torch the Light of the Khalsaa to the World. The New Generation Khalsaa shall be the ‘Shot-Callers’ of their Local Gurdwaaraas. The Committee will be educated, RehitVaan, AmritDhaaree, Content with Their Respective Incomes and NishKhaam. Their profit is their Service to the Cause of The Khalsaa. They profit when an alcoholic becomes an AmritDhaaree. They profit when they feed the hungry. They profit when the un-educated gets an education. They profit when the weak become Strong and Principled. They profit when the Spiritual Homeless find a place of Rest at the Feet of the Guruu.

Corruption happens in the settings of our ‘GurDwaaras’, where the ‘shot-callers’ are un-principled. This even happens in the settings of our homes. Many parents teach their children to drink etc. The new generation AmritDhaaree GurSikhs all over the world, need to become the ‘Shot-Callers’ of their homes as well. Durmat to Gurmat. Pakhand to Bhagtee. Nafrat to Prem. Alcohol to Amrit. This applies to those homes where parents teach their children wrong principles. Sometimes ‘Turban Wearing’ fathers teach their sons to partake alcohol, even to the extent of arguing with them if their son says ‘No’. Surely, not all ‘GurDwaaras’ are Corrupt ? and surely many have been Blessed with Beautiful Parents.

Wrong doing can spread like wild fire. It provides the confidence for other negative parties to follow through with their bad intentions, they have an ‘invisible’ support system. Oh but even a million corrupt Candles seem insignificant with the Rise of the Principled Sun. Candles can be blown out, the Sun Shall shine. The New Generation Khalsaa will be the Sun.

It is the youth, the New Generation AmritDhaaree RehitVaan Gursikhs all over the world, who shall become the ‘Shot-Callers’. From the very top to the very bottom, the Principles of the Khalsaa shall be propagated. The new generation AmritDhaaree RehitVaan GurSikhs shall Rise. They need to Rise without anger. With sweetness on their lips, and articulate strategies in their minds, good deeds as their actions and loving twinkles in their eyes, the Khalsaa will Rise. Some will inspire, and some will be inspired. Some will preach effectively and some will act solemnly. Some will do something good secretly and some shall become known in all directions, we must do what we can. But we must do it in Sehaj with Conviction. We will stride towards a common cause, The Khalsaa Cause, Together, even if individually. We will be magicians of change.

Caution!: Do it Anonymously if needed, for the Corrupt Forces Kill with no Regard. They have no respect for Human Life. We must Know Politics. We Must Be Fearless but we must be Smart and Aware. We need the Ambassadors of Change Alive and Well! We Must Know That They will try ‘Finish’ us, Burn our Homes, and Eradicate our Fields, knowing This, we Must Then go and plant the most beautiful of Seeds. We Must Never under-estimate our opponents. They attack not only the individuals, they go after their entire families and communities as well. They attack the innocent with No Regard. They use emotional blackmail with no Regard for Human Life. Knowledge is Key. Educate the Masses. Inspire and Be Inspired. Win the Hearts of the Masses and never lose your inspiration. Be Inspired by Thought at least, if not by Word and Deed at the moment. Build our Strength. For Thoughts are seeds of Actions. Nurture your Thoughts and water it with The Guruus’ Teachings. Such a Tree can Never Be Uprooted and the Whole of Humanity Shall Enjoy the Fruits. The Khalsaa with Strong Roots Shall Benefit The Khalsaa Cause and the World.

Do it all. Play sports. Go to school. Go to work. Run a Business. Be a Doctor. Be a Lawyer. Have a family. Have hobbies. And at the same time, Save the World – Be a Khalsaa. Radiate The Glory of The Khalsaa. After all, we are the Children of Guru Gobind Singh Jee; Best Child, Best Parent, Best Poet, Best Archer, Best Humanitarian, Best Scholar, Best Linguist, Best Husband, Best Father, Best King, Best Bhagat, Best Warrior, Best of the Best. Who can narrate the Greatness Shree Guru Gobind Singh Jee? Great is the Pen of Bhai Nand Lal Singh Jee. Great is the Pen of Bhai Gurdaas Singh. Even a drop of His Ocean can quench the Thirst of All Realms. We are the Children of such a Father, the Father of the Khalsaa, We are the Khalsaa. Oh Singhs and Kaurs, even Deer will Smile when These Friendly Lions Roar; for they know, The Khalsaa Will Protect and Feed them too. The New Generation Khalsaa Shall be the ‘Shot-Callers’. When Five RehitVaan Khalsaa gets together, OH, you are considered a Form of The Guruu, Beloveds of The Guru. The Nectar of the Double Edged Sword Quenches the Deepest of Thirst. Khalsaa will Prevail.

i think there is nothing wrong with a hierarchy as long as it doesn't into something that makes anyone feel that they are better than someone else or until equality is an issue.
