actually last time we spoke to them, i think they were coming to the UK but idont think they got a visa to come to canada etc , the sangat requested that they come and it wud have happened but i think baba ji didnt go thru with it...unless something has changed now, can someone confirm this?

Harkhowalae sant came to the uk earlier this year. all these recording are with the sikh channel. the recordings that will be on daily have been recorded by the uk sangat since the mid 90's

At last - quality programming has started on the Sikh Channel - hopefully this trend will now continue - with Sants, Ithihaasic Kathaakar, Dhadis, Raagis who have actually dedicated their life to their specialisms in order to share Gurmat in its high level beauty with the sangat (as was done in Gurus royal court).

SC needs to put on the hundreds of Sant singh Maskeen divaans amongst other top Gursikh educators back on at prime time too, rather than bollywood kirtan and claim flipping card today (wasting most the time).

Kam, do you think they would show Swami Parmanands divaans?

Its really good news that the Sikh Channel will be broadcasting Baba Jee's katha.

I am however abit concerned that by broadcasting katha from Bangla Sahib everyday, they are on occasions unknowingly allowing anti-Gurmat kathavachiks to broadcast their katha.

I too heard the whole katha and can confirm what the poster has said and the kathavachik also went on to mock anyone that does dharna. All was said in a indirect/subtle and calm way, but it was blatantly obvious the points he was trying to make and that he was a chela of Kala Afghana.

I'm not saying they shouldn't broadcast from Bangla Sahib, because the keertan is amazing but they need to pay attention to who is doing katha there and make a decsion as to whether Sikh Channel want to broadcast that particular kathavachiks katha etc.

No i dont think they will be showing any of swami parmanand ji's recordins other then the one he did in the studio. there is plenty of material out there if the sikh channel wants , it can get it although they are more worried about pleasing the audience the put on deep veechar.
