First of all we have to live in a simple and SIKHI style

and should avoid any such act in our own life which can

cause or compell the youth to say "Is it the SIKH LIFE?"

For this we have to follow four thumb rules as under:-

1. BOLNA BULAONA ,GURMAT ANUSAR. Means we should speak

as per gurmat and avoid speaking which is not as per

gurmat so that we do not compel our surrounding people

to speak some thing which is against gurmat. In GURBANI

it is rightly said "JETA BOLAN TETA GYAN"

2. CHHAKNA CHHAKAUNA,GURMAT ANUSAR.Means we should eat

and offer eatables as per GURMAT.In GURBANI it told

to avoid such eatables which cause lamenting after

sometimes:-

"BABA HOR KHANA KHUSHI KHUAAR,

JIT KHAADE TAN PEERIYE MAN MEH CHALE VIKAAR."

3. PEHNANA PEHNAUNA GURMAT ANUSAR.Means we should wear and

encourage others to wear simple and as per GURMAT but

it never means we should look like IDEALS but it means

simple clothings.

4.KAARAJ VIHAAR GURMAT ANUSAR.Means our source of income

(KAARAJ)as well as style of spending(VIHAR)should be in

consonance with GURMAT.

If we adopt above four principles ,we need not to make

PARCHHAR of SIKHI in any segment of our society and

children, youth and other middle aged etc.because every

one will see us as exemplary SIKH and will follow our

life style. But charity begins at home.First of all ,if we

ourselves are Exemplary,so would be our children(and may

not be also some times). This all is based upon the

principle laid down in GURBANI :-

"PRATHHME MAN PARBODHE APNA PAACHHE OVAR REEJHAAVE."

and

"AVAR UPDESEH AAP NA KAREH,

AAVAT JAAVAT JANMEH MAREH."

Bhul chuk khima, Waheguru ji ka Kalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh.

i like this idea don't have to lecture them and no one is forcing anything and it helps build curiousity and the youth eventually will want to learn more
