Vahiguroo Jee Kaa Khalsa Vahiguroo Jee Kee Fateh!

Today is the day Shaheed Bhai Harjinder Singh Jinda & Shaheed Bhai Sukhdev Singh Sukha obtained their Shaheedi. These soorme sent General Vaidya (who led the attack on Sri Darbar Sahib 1984), Lalit Maken (Politician involved in Delhi Massacre 1984), Arjan Daas (Politician involved in Delhi Massacre 1984) to Narak!

If you would like to know more about them then please Google search their names as there is alot of information about their jeevans.

There are many lessons to be learnt from all the Singhs/Singhnia who gave their lives for the Khalsa Panth. If we look at Sukha & Jinda, then there is alot that can be learnt:

1) They were just students at college before 1984, but it was the love and 'dard' (pain) they felt for the Panth that drove them to do their Seva in eliminating the Dusht. Something that we should try and build in our own lives, like when Dhan Dhan Sahib Sri Guroo Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj said 'Panth vasai mai ujraa, man chao ghanera'

2) They told their families to distribute ladoos when they become Shaheed as it was a happy occasion for them. They saw their Shaheedi as their wedding day, as they kissed the ropes which were about to hang them.

3) Any dusht they went for, he was eliminated, they were dedicated in their seva for the Panth

4) Their Nitnem was 16/18 hours long in jail before their Shaheedi. Japji Sahib, Jaap Sahib, Tua Prasaa Svaiye, Chaupai Sahib, Anand Sahib, 25 Japji Sahib, 11 Sukhmani Sahib, Rehras Sahib, Kirtan Sohila and a Jaap of Chaupai Sahib.

Just a few things that stick out that we should try to build into our lives.

Today is the 17th Shaheedi diwas of these 2 Singh Soorme, Shaheed Bhai Harjinder Singh Jinda and Shaheed Bhai Sukhdev Singh Sukha.

A low-life like me can't offer any tribute/shardhanjali to these jujharoos, although no harm trying. Here is what big-mouths like me can do best, and hopefully it means something.

(just made it up)

~ Mehtab Singh (big mouth, all talk only)

Parnaam Shaheedaan Nu!!!!!
