Khalsa ji, with utmost nimrata i make a suggestion from my little knowlegdge, too show the chardi kala of the khalsa panth jio, why dont we hold a Sri Dasam Granth- Khalsa ji veechar (discussion/explaination) , vivaad nivarti (controversy clearing) Sabha! just a thought

I saw the show and what happened was Dhesi was put on the spot by a Mrs Deol who called in , the Sikh Channel cut her off but she did manage to say enough for the presenters to realise where the caller was going.

After she was cut off a caller from Newcastle Prof. Harjit Singh who is a friend of Dhesi and Ghaurav came on air and said it was wrong to cut the lady off, they should have at least listened to her point of view and the studio panel should have been able to respond to her.

Dhesi tried to wriggle out of it by saying that they didnt cut her off etc. etc. and it was obvious to the viewers what had happnened. Then he said we are trying to contact her and her phone is engaged.

Anyway during this Dhesi started to say that there is no ad for this program and the Barsi ad doesnt say there is Dasam Granth Paath going on. He said he has had confirmation from Willenhall that they will only be reciting Dasam Bani that is part of our nitnem.

It was obvious to the viewers that Dhesi had an anti-Dasam Granth stance but he didnt want to say so, and tried to wriggle out. It was unclear what the whole show was about. On the one hand they were trying to do the usual sant-bashing and on the other had they were acknowledging that the Panthic gurdwara's and jathebandees were way behind in doing Amrit parchaar.

If the Sikh Channel airs a show then they should have presenters who can articulate there views and not just try to have one foot on each side.

The latest news is that Gurnindaks have been silenced at Tortonto where they could not hold any meeting at kala afghna sikh lehar centre.They ahve been also silnced at New york.

Victory is going to be of khalsa of Guru gobind singh ji and may his bani become a household name.

daas has remained quiet up to now but i have a few questions for channel organisers on the forum:

how can Kulwant Dhesi remain a positive person to have as presenter after comments made on air about Dasam Bani & Darshan Sinh?

is the proportion of youngsters involved in the channel behind the scenes increasing?

if most of the presenters & sewadars are old folks will this mean that the channel will only last as long as they do? what does this mean for the long term viability and future of the channel?

how much do claims today pay for advertising? are any costs of britasia or other firms included in costs presented to sangat?

channel organisers know daas is very supportive of the channel but these are important questions.

on a side note, the Sri Dasam Granth Sehaj Paat is a very positive programme, please do attend and bring all the family. Big well done to the organisers.

Sikh channel is being influenced by various persons thats why they are not fuly promoting the barsi and dasm granth sehaj paat bhog, we have given them the money it costs, why are they not advertising like they did with lemington spaa and manchester
