For the first time in ages, I actually enjoyed the queens xmas speech. (which can be seen here http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/UK-News/Queens-Christmas-Day-Message-Gives-Praise-To-Military-And-The-Commonwealth-Of-Nations/Article/200912415508088).

dalbit singh from milasia explained what the commonwealth meant to him.. It was good to see a Sikh on TV in her message without the topic being ethnic minorities in the uk, multicultural britain etc.

in her message the queen had said "I am sure that we have all been affected by events in Afghanistan and saddened by the casualties suffered by our forces serving there.

"Our thoughts go out to their relations and friends who have shown immense dignity in the face of great personal loss.

"But, we can be proud of the positive contribution that our servicemen and women are making, in conjunction with our allies."

"The debt of gratitude owed to these young men and women, and to their predecessors, is indeed profound".

No doubt muslims will be p!ssed with this - which is good. Thesedays the british media particularly the BBC (and even brit asia tv) tiptoe around muslims; double checking their every statement to make sure they do not offend.

Muslims were not seen or mentioned anywhere in the queens speech. Hopefully the BBC will pick up that muslims are no longer flavour of the month, every month as they have been for the past decade!

The BBC will never just realised that now

I mean how many failed bombings, rape cases, etc haven't they not reported? let alone the past decade look at the fail bombing of the world trade centre in 1993.....

BBC when seen from this perspective seem to be horrendously biased.
