Excellent post. It may seem trivial, but this is a subject that is critically in need of improvement in the panth and across the globe generally.

If we are capable of fighting for sikhi, it is a good idea to also follow some of the advice above so we don’t’ kill sikhi within our families.

Btw, the other area that comes to mind is to stop killing your kesh and sikh identity.
