Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa!

Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!

pyare jio, it was fantastic to see so many youth there. I was a bit surprised to see so few elders. It is such a shame, how easily they seem to have forgotten 84.

What was really good was how so many youth had good quality flyers and went around giving them to Londoners. The whole event is about awareness, and we need to interact more with people when we protest to get the message across.

It was better that more of the lectures were in English. However i was thinking, instead of loads of lectures. It would have been better to have a projector system, and show a video of just images in complete silence. I think that would be alot more powerful, and affect many more non-sikhs.

I also think all youth throughout the world should carry on with with parchaar about 84. In particular distribute the booklet by the truth and Justice campaign. It is called 84 Kristallnacht. It is published by National Union of Journalists. It is a very powerful and professional booklet, and also concise.

This should not be a one off 20th anniversary event, but something that builds every year.

The coffins which were carried were an idea by the youth in order to attrach much needed press attention, unfortunetly the event was on the same day as d-day, so there was never going to be many press.

Also it is sad but true to note that the only marches that get any coverage these days are those attended by close to 100, 000 people or those in which there is violence police arrests etc.

Since we are not thugs we do not beat up policemen and charge down buildings whilst holding a peaceful protest. Perhaps it is the sikh concept of respect that stops us from getting media coverage.

I gurantee you that had some of the lads broken the barrier near the embassy down and charged at it and thrown a few bricks and set off big fires etc etc we'd be everwhere.

But we chose to sit in the streets and do chaupai sahib da path, another thing to note for the elders is that... it wasthe youth that sat down, not just amritdhari singhs, but all types, moneh, girls, boys, singhs, women, children, everyone side by side. The youth are bnot thugs who cannot be trusted, we do not fight with each other at protests unlike our so called 'leaders'.

The youth diverse and united showed qualities that the elders have long lost, respect, unity, dedication, restraint and real love for our martyrs. They were there becuase they felt the pain and wanted to show it to the world, not to score political points.

So for all my brothers and sisters who were there thank you so very much.

By the way just flicked through that barfi culture thing, and its put me kinda down again.

People seem to have this impression that khalistani's are right wing seperatists, an

d that they/we hijak events etc. That high and mighty attitude really gets up my nose, id like to ask these people whether every person who supports khalistan that they have ever met is right wing or whatever other wing?? Also fine, we so called seperatists (who are khalistani's because of the hurt we feel over the events that took place not because of land) will not turn up at the next demo, i wonder how many people would be left, how many left wing humanists would march down that street.

Im thinking about how mnay non-khalistani's do i know that spent weeks leading up to the event making placards and coffins, spending thousands of their own pounds out of their own pockets buying materials, flyers, tshirts, spending up to midnight every night getting stuff done. Im also wondering how many singhs who took up arms against the indian forces and died in the struggle were anti-khalistan!!??

Forget this hawayein bull, SUKHA AND JINDA who killed general vadiya, who was one of the responsible for the atack were hardcore khalistani, as confirmed by their final letter. Would the non-right wingers condemn them too??? Im really annoyed now actually, boll*** to the lot of them, they aint gonna do crap themselves and they got the balls to cuss those that do??

If you dont agree with the concept of khalistan then fine that your choice, but dont break the balls of those that do, the march is as much a march for rememberance as it is a political protest against the attack.

Sorry but we hijak nobodies event, we work our nuts off for you to break? When peopel shout khalistan, they dont shout for just a country, that shout is an expression of all their pain, their fears, there suffering, its a kind of release, its one word which encapsulates everything you feel. When you shout khalistan you shout for sikh human rights, you shout for justice, you shout for dignity and respect. Its a shout of defiance that no matter what you do we will survive, we will flourish, for every one you kill thou

sands wuill stand!!!

Thats what a khalistan shout means. Not just land!

So thank you to everyone again guys i felt so proud next to everyone, brothers and sisters till the end!

got this e-mail from a forum

I turned up for the march on sunday, and there was a good turnout..mainly from the North..but towards the end I got really annoyed when some Singhs arnd 25-30, burnt and spat on the indian flag..This was way out of order..the only time u see ppl burnin flags, are terrorists (i.e. Middle east Palestenines/Israelis). and worst these Singhs had their faces covered..just looked like terrorist. One more things, ths people like me are all born and brought up here, so they dont know what demanding Khalistan actually achieved in the early 80's. nothing but blood shed.. We are not terrorist, and Im proud to be Indian. Im proud that our PM is a SIKH...and we are gonna move on...The French dont hold a grudge agaisnt the Germans, for WW2, they work together and acheive a greater unity....

Also if the youngster used their energy for other Sikhi tasks, then we wont be havin a problem in France with banned turbans..we should be fighting the French polies and we need India..and we are Indians...

Sorry if I hurt anyone..but i was so hurt when the Indian flag was burnt..and I know I am gonna get an angry response to this email...But we need to work together as an indian community and move up the British career ladder..and become successful in work..

my answer to the face covering is, if u dont cover ur face u get hassel from gov if u go india,

any family in panjab get greef aswell as any savings, etc u

loose.

    • Umm, that's totally irrational, bro. There are plenty of prakash-dara Singhs in Punjab (less than we'd like, but still plenty). No one cares that you are sabat soorat. It isn't 1986. You can walk around in chola, kurta-pajama, or jeans. Whatever. If you want the look @dallysingh101 is referring to, just go into a cheap clothing shop (not a Western-style mall) and buy some shirts for 250 rupees or a track suit for 2000 rupees. You'll get the cheap stuff made in some sweatshop in Bombay.
    • The Mind is Jyot Saroop (Waheguru), but the mind is under the influence of five evils… Through Naam Simran( Rememberance), the mind will begin to detach from evil, and get back to its original form ( MANN TU JYOT SAROOP HEH)… Until the mind breaks free from the five evils, one will go through the cycle of paap and punn….which leads to Karma… Naam Simran destroys past karma, and prevents new karma coming into fruition… I did this, I did that… This non realisation of the Jyot Saroop gives rise to paap and Punn, which in turn gives birth to suffering and misery…
    • I agree we're not born with sin like the Christians think. Also I agree we have effects of karma. But Gurbani does state that the body contains both sin and charity (goodness): ਕਾਇਆ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਪਾਪੁ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਦੁਇ ਭਾਈ ॥ Within the body are the two brothers sin and virtue. p126 Actually, we do need to be saved. Gurbani calls this "udhaar" (uplift). Without Satguru, souls are liable to spiritual death: ਜਿਨਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨ ਭੇਟਿਓ ਸੇ ਭਾਗਹੀਣ ਵਸਿ ਕਾਲ ॥ p40 Those who have not met Satguru Purakh are unfortunate and liable to death. So, yeah, we do need to be saved, and Guru ji does the saving. The reason Satguru is the one to save is because God has given Satguru the "key" (kunji): ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਹਥਿ ਕੁੰਜੀ ਹੋਰਤੁ ਦਰੁ ਖੁਲੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੭॥ In the True Guru's hand is the key. None else can open the door. By perfect good fortune the Guru is met. p124
    • That's unfortunate to hear. Could you give any more information? Who was this "baba"? He just disappeared with people's money? Obviously, you should donate your money to known institutions or poor people that you can verify the need of through friends and family in Punjab.
    • Sangat ji,  I know a family who went Sevewal to do seva sometimes end of 2019. They returned last year in great dismay and heart broken.  To repent for their mistakes they approached panj pyaare. The Panj gave them their punishment / order to how t make it up which, with Kirpa, they fulfilled.  They were listening to a fake Baba who, in the end, took all the "Donations " and fled sometime over a year ago. For nearly 4 years this family (who are great Gursikhs once u get to know them) wasted time and effort for this fake Baba. NOT ONLY this one fam. But many, many did worldwide and they took their fam to do seva, in village Sevewal, city Jaitho in Punjab. In the end many families lost money in thousands being behind this Baba. The family, on return, had to get in touch with all the participants and told them to stop.  I am stating this here to create awareness and we need to learn from whom we follow and believe. It's no easy but if we follow the 3 S (Sangat, Simran and Seva) we will be shown the light. As I am writing this the family in question have been doing the same since 2008 onwards and they fell for this Baba... it is unbelievable and shocking.  This am writing in a nutshell as am at work on my break so not lengthy but it deserves a great length.  Especially the family in question, who shed light on youngsters about Sikhi 20 plus years!!
