Mann For Scrapping Of ‘Black List’

Simranjit Singh Mann, president, Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar), today demanded scrapping of the ‘black list’, a day prior to the scheduled visit of Union Home Minister P Chidambram here.

He said the policies of the Centre must reflect the same treatment to all communities, whether majority or minority. He said the names of those leaders and persons who took part in the anti-Sikh riots and those who demolished Babri Masjid were not added in the ‘black list’.

He flayed the SAD-BJP coalition government in the state for empowering police commissioners to take any decision, including that to order firing, which was earlier vested in an executive magistrate.

He said the coalition government had released powers to its leaders who had developed their private forces. He claimed that it was apparent from the broad daylight murder of farmer leader Sadhu Singh Takhtupura at Ajnala subdivision recently.

He announced that he would contest the SGPC elections on the issue of Khalistan. Reiterating his demand, Mann said he would work for the attainment of the objective through democracy and vote power and the same message he would try to send across the Sikh voters.

Mann should get people's support first. He is loosing his following. he must do service to people by asking his partymen to help local village people. organise social events, Do good deeds at Gurudwaras. Get SGPC seats, gain control of Gurudwras. Help people, organise health camps, provide jobs to people and then issue statements. People will lisen only then.

EXACTLY !!! Without people support, one can't go nowhere and that is the perfect example of SS Mann!!

Mann needs to fire everybody around him and get a strong fresh face team.

People who stand with him are neither educated nor they are truthful to their party's platform.. They are with him just because they want their name to be heard and be famous etc...
