What Is Bhagauti ?

Recommended Posts

For those who are wondering what Bhagauti is and what is the role of Chandi is in the panth, please listen to this katha.

I personally dont agree completely with Bhai Inderjeet Singh's vichaars. Bhagauti and durga are 2 DIFFERENT THINGS. Bhagauti is the Naam-roopi AAD SHAKTI whereas durga(chandi), ram, krishan, ravan etc are creations of God. These characters did some good things on earth and whenever they did something good, they took the power from Vaheguru's aad shakti.

sikhreality,

What does it matter who Inderjit Singh's ustad was, or what lineage you are trying to create here? No one is calling nderjit Singh a neo-Nihang.

But let's not forget that many neo-Nihangs believe Guru Gobind Singh Ji worshiped or sought assistance from the Hindu goddess Durga.

If Inderjit Singh does not subscribe to this ideology - then that is most welcome.

BUT, if he does, it doesn't matter, who his ustaad was. Gurmat is Gurmat. Gurmat does not change because such and such person was your ustaad.

Hainder singh

Stop writing chandi with Durga as Chandi has different meaning also in Dasam Granth sahib.

Baba Inderjit singh has interpreted Bhagauti very correctly.

According to Bhai Inderjeet Singh, Bhagauti protects Vaheguru and thats why there is always fateh of Vaheguru jee. This is misleading.

Vaheguru is all powerful and does not need protection from anyone.

Bhagauti is kirpan symbolizing akal purakh in chandi di vaar. Nihung singhs in India consider it is as kirpan. This is waht Dasam granth says.

People who interpret it differently and bring in some deity to mean bhgauti are not following sikh scripture, Dasam Granth sahib. They are committing same mistake as kala afghana cult.
