Questions Regarding Airplane Laws & Sri Harmandir Sahib

Gurfateh Jee,

I will be going to India soon and would love if someone can answer my questions. (from the UK)

• Can you tell me what the law is regarding Kirpaans? What do you do if you are an Amritdhari going on a airplane? (regarding your Kirpaan)
• I would like to go to Sri Harmandir Sahib and stay there for a few days first, how much are the room there?
• Do i need to book in advance for a room? or can i do that there?

kirpans are not allowed on airplanes. wear the small necklace ones and do ardass before taking off ur bigger one.

there's lots of places to stay. there are serai right across from the langar hall. i don't know if they do advance bookings. nri rooms are a few hundred rupees, while non-nri rooms are reasonable, like under 100 last time i was there. there are also numerous hotels around the area.

Book in advance or not?

Their is NRI niwas called Guru Gobind Singh nri niwas its best for nri's [it has ac building has la lift]

its very cheap 100 or 200 indian rupees for one day

rest their are loads of sewa in guru ghar langar di juthe bartana di
