Why All Prophets And Rishis Kept Long Hair ?

Its interesting that one of the commandments of moses to his people was :

Leviticus 19:27 that "You shall not round off the side-growth of your heads nor harm the edges of your beard."

Maybe all these prophets were sikhs !!

Simple , God created us the way he liked us to be, so we

should keep the same as token of love , thanks and show

of gratitude to Him, it is like living in his razaa ( wish)

as it is said in Japji Sahib -

Kiv sachiara hoiye, kiv korey tutey paal

(how to become truthful and how can we break the wall of fallacy

between us and the God Almighty )

Hukam Razai chalna , Nanak likhia naal

( we can do so , O Nanak , by following His hukam (THE EXPRESSED

COMMANDMENTS )and the razaa(the implied wishes) of the Almighty

And he created us the way he wanted us to be , hence we should

remain that way
