I think nominations were put in a while ago, and anyone could have nominated people for each category.

even if you don't agree with the nominations, why don't you look at the bigger picture? this is the first event of its kind and finally something out there celebrating achievements by our amazing Sikh Kaum.

we are always complaining about this and that, how we never get recognised as a separate entity, how no one takes us seriously well if we can celebrate our success in this way- globally

( i believe the event will be televised) maybe people will take notice of our invaluable contributions and our standing in this society.

lets please look at the positive side rather than pick holes- personally i hope this becomes a yearly event- then if anyone feels someone else is more deserving lets get them nominated.
