Sat Sri Akal:

Keep in mind that that is only 1 out of 5-9 individuals who attacked the Sikhs. The rest are still beng sought.

In lieu of this event, a silent protest, being lead by UNITED SIKHS and Sikh Coalition, as well as the local Gurudwaras and any last minute organizations that wish to support the protest, is being done in front of a Richmond Hill police precinct (along with the cooperation and permission of the police department) to make sure the police understand that one arrest is not enough. The details of it are follows:

102 Precinct Richmond Hill with Commanding Officer

Captain Michael A. Blake.

The address is: 87-34 118th Street Richmond Hill, NY

Hopefully, all will be caught and given severe sentences. Sikhism is all for forgiveness, but unless some serious punishment is dealt out, people will continue to do these actions. Also, be the persons involved of any race, it is still a crime against human beings and we should see it as that. Forget race and cultures here...morons exist in every one sector of society (as is evidenced by the diverse array of those who taunted and made fun of Sikhs post 9/11). It is time to call this what it is...an assault against other humans...a crime which should not be tolerated, regardless of race, religion etc.
