Daas was doing Gurmat Vichaar with a Gyanee Jee in Panjab,

and we were talking about the correct spelling of Vaheguroo,

and he, first told me to understand the Oun(k)urs and Dula(n)kars,

well, a Oun(k)ur gives the sound U, and a Dula(n)kar, Oo. So, a stretched U.

So, if we attempt to transliterate Vaheguroo into English, the correct spelling

would be Vaheguroo, not Vaheguru, because, if you promote the spelling 'Vaheguru',

you are also promoting Vaheguroo (Gurmukhee) with No Dula(n)kar,

so therefore, we are forcefully, changing the correct spelling of Vaheguroo in Gurmukhee...

So, the 'moral' of this message, is that the correct spelling of Vaheguroo, in English

is Vaheguroo.

And the controversy of the first letter, is optional to the Gurmukh.

Singh if you read old historical accounts of the english in India they also spelt the word which nowadays is widely accepted as Guru, as per your definition - Guroo. On a side note there are many other variations of many words for example Umritsar is now Amritsar. Basically I think you can not really have one transliteration from different alphabets / languages. However, RSingh96 your point makes 100% sense.
