Im not sure who to ask so thought would ask on here. Please only honest answers, if sombody is not well, is it normal for a sant/mahapurkh to give them lechia? Is it like parshaad like mishri and patase?

Sorry but wasnt sure how should ask or if they gave them in old days too.

thankuji

I would say be careful we as Sikh shouldnt rely on sants there are many sants out there which may not help u..I would reccommed take this as a circle of life that guruji has given, Best thing in my opinion is do ardass yourself n go gurdwara n get ardaas done..for whom it may before. Have faith in guruji keep doing path, read bani, simran. Take care.

I disagree with that, there is more than enough evidence in Gurbani to show that we are meant to find sants and serve them and that they will help us greatly (to say the least).

Yes, lechia are a common parshad, used to make 'sukha' parshad with mishri, badaam, pista etc.

thanku matheen paji, i did not know that, as always only had kararh parshad at gurdwara, and the mahapurkh has maharaj di beedh n is full amritdhari, which i did not know b4 either, everythin seems fine but didnt know they gave just lechia as parshad.

thankuji for confirming this.
