how is your gurdwara commemorating the big milestone?

any special events?

well at our gurdwara, other than the atamras kirtan darbar, there is also a sehaj paath taking place, it started today, exactly 8.45 i think.

I don't know the situations in other gurdwaras but here in Ohio where I live the situation is pretty bad. Ever since 9/11 the Singhs here have been goin to media outlets, police stations, etc tryin to get out what Sikhi is, and in return these people want to come to our gurdwaras to meet our leaders and see how we do things, but the problem is Our gurdwara leaders are all monie and don't follow the sikh rehit wat so ever, can this be possible in a gurdwara by the way? Sorry to get off topic but this is my very point, the gurdwaras here have no plan wats so ever for the 400 year commemoration. And i dnt think they will do anything for it, so us youth do this kind of stuff.
