Sikhi is not based around a culture that existed previously. Sikhi has a culture of it's own and does not have any form of dancing practices. Did Satguru Nanak Dev ji Maharaj change the Gurmat he taught to Muslims when he went to Mecca? They had a different culture than the Hindus. Satguru taught them the exact same Gurmat and didn't change anything. Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji Maharaj is all knowing so how can't he know how Christians jump about when they praise Jesus. It's very small minded to think that Sikhi is based on some old culture. The culture of Sikhi is the rehat maryada. YOu can take the rehat and apply it anywhere. And why can't the rehat be universal, when it came from Gurbani.

The game of these type are worse than these people dancing in the video doesnt justify there actions. And then to call a certain group ours and there's is just a way to put Gurmat down and raise the dancing as a right act. When we take Amrit we become a part of the Khalsa. So when does ours come in for just punjabis. It's like saying christians that go to church one day of the year and are drunks the rest days of the year are the christians people and not ours. This mentality needs to stop first in order to see there is not a line anywhere. The Satkaar group are attacking the so called 'our' people by taking out parties in Gurdwara buildings.

When it comes to Gurmat punjabi culture has no hold on it. Bhai Mardana was a new comer to Sikhi, but Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji Maharaj did not tolerate the old culture of his past and told him to follow Gurmat. There are plenty of other examples in Sikh history where new comers like Bhai Lehna ji (Satguru Sri Guru Angad Dev ji Maharaj) dropped the old culture and started practicing Gurmat.

There is the lack of teaching and wrong teachings among the 3HO. Many white people have taken note of these wrong teachings or lack of and started practicing Gurmat. All the people in the video need is a dosage of simran and they will never dance the next time they feel like chanting Waheguru.
