Err...yes. A Sikh can only marry a Sikh. I'm pretty sure a Muslim can only marry a Muslim.

Islam is very simple it's muslims that make it difficult. We have the same core principles same values, same morals same basic code of conduct and even very similar dress code...we are one, we just have to realize this and come together

please do not try to equate Sikhi with Islam. Not nearly the same. Not to mention that this "dress code" is not similar at all

If he doesn't want to marry you, but still wants to be intimate, then he doesn't sound like a very good Sikh to me. Maybe you should distance yourself from him. I don't think people at your mosque would approve of this relationship either.

if a river flows smoothly it brings life to land.....if a river doesn't follow its correct path and erodes its banks then it brings destruction.....it is bad that both of you let yourselves get to this bad state. In my opinion both of you forget what happened and seperate completely otherwise both of you and your families will be ruined. The correct social custom is that a person marries to the same as their own i.e., sikh marries sikh, muslim marries muslim, hindu marries hindu etc. im sure their are many other people of your own origin that can satisfy your passions and attachments.

lol we realised this 500 years, it is to the detriment to sikh-muslim relations that the significant minority of muslims have yet to grasp this point and are stuck in the past. If you are both keen followers of your religion, then I am pretty sure that both have listed that a non-sikh/muslim cannot marry a sikh/muslim in a officially religious ceremony

I am not native Arabian or even from any kind of Muslim culture, I an native American of the cherokee tribe, and I don't have a family...I am me, alone in this world, you can't imagine how I look at the world and see so much separation and destruction and long with all of my heart to see a joined society with no hate, racial separation or discrimination

Singh and I live in a culturally disgusting society that tells us everyday all day it is okay what we were doing to have realized that we were wrong and change is a huge feat
