What would be the best method to do path

Recommended Posts

Whatever you feel more comfortable with.

Listening via headphones is useful if physicaly involved in other tasks, such as walking outside, in the gym..etc..

Personally, I find that just using something to connect throughout the day helps one get an anand.

This could be doing nitnem in yout own comfortable space at home, then maybe doing 'waheguru' gurmantar jap for simran/ meditation or even whilst in the kitchen.

Then wherever you may have access to CD or electrical music device then you can listen to kirtan or paath.

Eventually, you begin to feel that the day is just not long enough to fully immerse yourself to content in the name of the lord.

The above link is a youtube video of Baba Hari Singh Ji Randhawe wale's katha of 10 stages of Naam.

He says the first step is 'Baikhari' which means to say out loud with your mouth.

So, basically, whatever you choose to practise or recite, say it out loud.

Along with reciting Bani verbally, one should also practise and train themselves to be able to listen carefully to Gurbani.

I'm not exactly sure whether it's correct to say that they're 'equally' important...but there's definitely nothing wrong with saying that they're BOTH important.
